How do you switch pedigree ownership on this site? - Page 1

I have searched under the dog's profile and I have sent a message to the moderator but never heard back.

You can't change ownership, but you can ask for edit rights.

And how do you do that? I sold the dog and do not need to edit it and the new owner will need to edit in the future. I sent a message to GSD Admin on 12/14/17 with the link and the other profile name but I did not hear back nor did it get changed. I can not find a way to change it on my own.

The new owner will have to ask for edit rights, but only if they want to make a change or add something to the pedigree.  Otherwise there is no need to make a change. The creator of a dpg in a pedirgee is not necessarily always the owner.  Just because you create a pedigree, does not mean that you own a dog. jist that you were the person who entered the dogs information on PDB.

Would that also remove me from having edit rights, as I do not need them any longer?

If you register a dog on the PDB you become the owner of that dogs pedigree but might not be their actual owner but will remain in their history. If you ask for edit rights for that dog you will remain in their history but will not become the owner of the PDB dogs pedigree.
