Here's your chance to own a 100% DDR IPO2 male. Yes, not IPO3, but 2. Because you can have the honor of putting the 3 on the dog and winning the WUSV. It is a steal for anyone wanting to preserve the DDR lines.

Personally, I would not mind having this dog at 7 weeks.  I would pay more for him then, than now.

Chaz

Whats so special about the ped? Many of those dogs are in many DDR peds.

by vk4gsd on 03 February 2017 - 04:02

Wouldn't that statement be true of ALL 100% DDR descendent dogs given the small gene pool and the fact there have been no new ones for 30+ years?

why is this dog a steal of a deal at $15000??

Mithuna, making light of the DDR lovers. I honestly would love to see what this dog would be if I had him at 7 weeks. I know grips are genetic, but I like a lot of what I see. What I don't like I attribute to training.

The prices are different here than on their website, but it says "firm." Which one is firmer? Thinking

Is it just me... or does lying down make him look fat? 😏

He DOES look fat in that photo, doesn't he?

Would like to see current video...or maybe video of the actual trial to see how he looked during trial, training videos don’t show a dog ready for an IPO2. The raw material is there…training could’ve been better, at this point, it’s too late to change anything and this won’t ever be a world beater (looks like he lacks the prey drive to do it anyways). Dog would have a hard time qualifying for a high level trial here in the states, work was clearly done mostly with compulsion. $15,000…yeah…probably a few zeros too many, but they’ll find someone with the money and the hang up on DDR.

I do find the hang up on DDR very disproportionate on this forum, it’s really interesting that people seem to constantly ask questions about DDR here even though the dogs are a very small portion of the total working dog population and aren’t really the same types of dogs they once were. I wonder why that is? Just an interesting observation.
