Cristadoulos, a lot of people have read your posts - but as nobody has answered you, there is no point repeating posts asking the same question. Sadly I'm assuming that the reason no one has replied is because nobody knows - they either do not understand your question (like me!), or - also like me - they are not Breeders who might be more conversant with taking such readings. There are very few breeders (rather than owners, trainers, etc) who come here any more. Maybe many read, but sadly do not post.  I bet you would do better at getting people to respond if you asked somewhere else, e.g. breeders' groups on social media.

Here's an older PDB thread that should be useful.  Read all the posts, not just the one with the table.

As noted in one of the posts in the linked thread, make sure you're comparing the same units of measurement

https://www.pedigreedatabase.com/community.read?post=664574-progesterone-levels--mating-time

A lot of people are on vacation right now, or busy with harvest or putting up/transporting/selling the harvest.

Wow. Well, that was pretty damn rude, and I have no idea what Hundmutter did to deserve it!!

She's 100% right - if you didn't get an answer to your first post, posting a second time isn't going to change things. It means no one HAS an answer!

Google, use the search function on this site, or ask a vet - those would all be alternatives more likely to find the information you need.

Edit: GSDCat, thank you for finding that table! And yeah, that's another issue about the units of measurment. This is an international board, and the vets in one country might not use the same measurements for the hormone levels as the vets in another.

honestly, when I do progesterone testing, I ask my vet what it means and when to breed. If I didn't trust my vet, why would I pay the absurd prices these tests cost in the U.S?

and it's 100% OK to ask these questions here for people who have experience with this stuff. but, honestly again, do you think asking it many times and being rude gets you a better answer than your vet can provide?

Deleted.  I'll start a new thread for my question so as not to derail.

..rude ?
rude is someone who write to a post when he has nothing to say only to provoke..
I am a serious breeder who spend a lot of money to breed with the best way.. and sharing expreriences belongs defo in my mindset.. Get a life. I just tried to find poeple with similar experiences.

Of course i get my infos from my vet(s) but still sharing is carrying so again..get a life..i am not here to discuss with people who are not able to discuss.

PS finally day 20 progesterone reached 3.5 ng/ml and day 22 9,3ng/ml. with a succesfull mating.

This website is pedigreedatabase..that means that is for people who are interesting in pure breeding => serious breeders not byb => anyone can post anything about serious breeding.

Perhaps u r in a wrong site.

best regards

also RIK be a little bit more polite ...gege?

I spent only for this period 400 euros for my female ,only for testing ...i tested P4 ,LH ,made ultrasound etc every 3 days...not i ..my vet...So u dont speak to someone who searches answers to google because he wants to save money from his vet.

I am a serious hobby breeder and i will never stop to collect opinions either from vets or from serious breeders.

If someone has nothing to add to "sharing is carrying" ,then dont open my thema and discuss about ur interests in other posts.

GET A LIFE , and online bulling doesnt scare me at all.
