| Before I get hit back by 100 people telling me to stay within the standard, and yada-yada -- I get your point, but that is NOT what I'm asking for here, so PLEASE do not respond if that is all you want to say! A few years ago, I found a breeder online who bred "Oversized" or "Very Large" rough collies, but I cannot seem to find the website now. I understand the breed standard says the males should be 60 to 75 pounds, but this guy's male dogs were close to 100 pounds, and that is the IDEAL size I am looking for! I have an oversized German Shepherd Dog that will be in excess of 140 pounds when he is fully grown, and I have always wanted a collie as well. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE someone tell me where I can find such a breeder!!! I am looking for a Mahogany Sable puppy or one that will be born within the next few months. Please respond soon. Also, I am not looking to pay a fortune. Please respond soon!!! |

| I just read your post and I am not sure if you are still looking for an oversized Collie, but, if you are, I have the perfect boy for you. He is 20 weeks old, and weighs 70 pounds. He is stunning. And he is purebred. I am selling him for $500 if you are interested. He is phenomenal with kids, cats, other dogs, you name it. He has his shots and all his wormings up to date. If you are interested, feel free to email me back and I will be happy to send you pictures of him. I am not sure where you are located, but I am in upstate NY. |
