what is the best heartworm medication for my rough collie puppy?

Have your pup tested for sensitivity to Ivermectin.  My understanding is it's a pretty accurate DNA test. 

I do not know if collies are susceptible to reactions to the active drug(s) in Interceptor, does anyone else?
