Looking for Show Quality - Collie Pup by Renofan2 on 08 January 2008 - 03:19 |
Hey Collie breeders: Anyone in the Northeast? I am looking for a show quality - female rough collie pup. Prefer sable or blue merle. I usually hang out on the German Shepherd thread - alot of drama. Just noticed no collie posts yet, so though I would get it started. Cheryl |

| I usually hang out on the GSD section, too, but you are right about the drama...!! Are you looking NE US? I have a Rough Collie, currently 11 years old from a breeder in NJ - Tanya Volovnik of "Orion Collies" He was my first Service Dog and I can tell you she produces beautiful dogs with exquisite heads and SUPER solid temperament and working ability. I would recommend her without hesitation and go to her again for another Collie. |

| Hi, I'm actually in the Northwest USA, possibly closer to you than the other two responders. I have a litter born on Nov. 16, and there is one Merle female. I recently started with breeding collies, and actually got my pair before doing my "show quality" research. I am in contact with a breeder who shows a lot to have her critique my puppies. They do have quite a few champions in their background so I'm hoping for the best. Take a look at Jazz Chayton Kodiak pedigree, that's the sire, and Cascade's Leisien Safirah de Northern Lights, the dam. I'll be working on a website for the puppies soon! Daria |
