I have since been informed the picture I saw was taken two months ago, and not in Dec. as I might have thought.

Chase puppy will be 16 months old on the 25th, and really, the OP just wants to know if he is done growing.

I think he is, but maybe, he might mature into a bit more in girth. Continuing with height growth and more weight, one would hope... probably not. Adding weight to what he is now, would just be fat, and we all know we like our GSD's to show definition of a tuck up of the belly, and seeing the distinct form of the last two ribs, to mean a lean dog.

I can't help unfortunately, that the OP feels bullied by the insistance that she isn't measuring properly or worse, must be a liar with the stats on Chase. It is my hope to help her understand that most of our, to the standard sized GSD's will not be weighing past 90lbs, let alone into the 100 + lb. range. Certainly my own Mojo, at ten years, tops out at 84 or 85 lbs.

Of course there are purebred GSD's that are outside the standard and if she has one, then I don't see any problem on how that will be an affect on her loving her pet. If the hope was to breed Chase, than that would be taking this to a whole other issue, or topic.

Some people just can t help but cite their expertise at the expense of others.
I can see Chase being exactly as OP states. There are so many Shepherds that do exceed the size limits.
Both dogs look happy and healthy. I am happy seeing a German Shepherd that is allowed to be what he was born to be. They are not breeding oversize dogs. The reality of the breed is, you can breed two dogs, totally within the standard, AND STILL GET OVERSIZED...
It makes me ill to see dogs that appear as tho they are half starved, just so they can maintain the weight, that is within the standard.
Your dogs are beautiful. They look like happy dogs, being able to be, dogs!

Beautiful dogs. No disrespect but Chase looks about 80 lbs , 40 kilos to me. I would like to see a photo or video of him next to a human being to compare. Anyway who cares how big or tall at the end of the day. Hope your dogs are having a happy good life...that's what really matters at the end of the tail, tale anyway.

Giebel, if he was 80lbs he would be unhealthy and extremely underweight. He is 31in tall at 18 months. The video on the thread he is 16 months and 30in. He is tall and still pretty lean and the now 125lbs is all muscle. Given he is lean maybe why you think he is less.
