and the thought that all those "GOOD PIT BULLS WILL SNAP ONE DAY" is a crock. i have children from 6 to 18yrs old that have been raised around working breeds including pit bulls and not one attack. and all 3 of the kids have been in close contact with hundreds of APBT's, i guess it's just been luck???????

need i go on???????? as you can see there are many bites and attacks that happen even with our shepherds. should we ban the breed? NO. is this the norm? NO. but it does happen. and these are the things that sell papers and get the headlines. so let's not try and judge an entire breed by the ones that make the news.

no one offended me. sorry if it came off that way. this is in response you the lower post. i was just trying to say the same thing you did that it happenes and there is no one breed to blame.  many on here when the APBT is mentioned jump on that "they're all bad destroy them all" bandwagon but forget that our shepherds are guilty from time to time. so what will we say when people once again start yelling BAN GERMAN SHEPHERDS? it's nice to see that there are some people who realize this.

TRAINING TRAINING TRAINING, AND  SOCIALIZE THEM TO ALL POSIBLIITIES. BOTTOM LINE ANY UNTRAINED, UNSOCIALIZED DOG IS A BOMG WAITING TO GO OFF!
