OH that's too funny Bob, PBJ; probably easy for him to digest. Bless his heart. Love that. Thx for sharing Nan

My longest living Malamute was almost 15 when she died. She ate Purina Sensitive Stomach and no supplements most of her adult life. My friend's GSD had a very active life for over 14 years eating Eukanuba Large Breed Puppy food his entire life plus a spoonful of yogurt daily. She has had many other GSD's that lived way past 12 eating that same diet.

Any luck with Natures Domain Organic formula. Grain free, chicken protein. Thx for sharing Nan

You may want to try ENDURE canine joint supplement. It contains Glucosamine, Chondroitim, and Psyllium for digestion and immune system response. Ours get on scoop (included in the container) a day. Works great and keeps their coat shiny and itch free.

This video shows my almost 14 year old dog playing ball. He eats Orijen senior with a vitamin D capsule & a crushed glucosamine/chondrotin tablet (same human brand we take) in a spoonful of yogurt added to his food. He is mentally & physically fit as a puppy (maybe he's a tiny bit more mellow but he's still bright & happy).  This is the link to the video if the embed feature didn't work:https://youtu.be/TWcv65vjJoc
