Isaiah Chapter 52:10
The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

Thanks Shtal

GSDguy,,Should we also take from this verse 1Timothy 2:3 that God only wants all men to be saved?..It says all men..This is a perfect example of my point. We know from reading the "whole" of scripture that it is referring to men and women, but if we were to pluck that verse out without comparing to other scripture it could give one the impression it is referring to only men..

The, " all men" simply means NOT JUST JEWS, but gentiles as well..Jew and Gentiles...Gentile meaning the whole rest of the world Indians, Greeks, Chinese , Canadians,,lol,,and so on.., Remember a huge part of Christ ministry was about salvation being made available to those other than just Jews...

Also, are we to take from this verse that God desires something, but is unable to obtain it??...You must believe this logic,  because you know that there are those who will perish ..You believe that God has unobtainable desires,,,I think that is utterly foolish and it is most certainly not biblical. God has no unobtainable desires because He is God..period!

Yes, I do believe that all are born in a sinful state,,lol,,Fully equipped and intact to sin..

And Ruger are you absolutely kidding me? For one when It says all men, yes I believe all people on earth.  You just restated my thoughts when it meant all people on earth and you mentioned others of other races, etc so I have no clue why you're even arguing there.  And secondly how on earth can you argue by reading the inspired Scripture, that CLEARLY states He wishes all would be saved?

So all born in a sinful state? Please, tell me the passages that "prove this".

GSDguy//You must be kidding me because I can not make it any more clear, but I will try..

who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

The Jews where Gods chosen people and the New Testament teaches that God has made salvation available to the Jews as well..So this verse is evidence of that fact. ~ALL MEN TO BE SAVED~  God will do the choosing from among all men (the Jew and the Gentile).. same as He did the Old Testament, but now it is not exclusive to Jews only... God does not change,,He still operates the same way..

So when the verse says "all men" it DOES NOT mean that God desires all men that were ever born to be saved, it means that God will save from among all men///not just Jews,,,

As far as all being born in a sinful state...Ever hear of Adam ,,??..lol..

Psalm 51:5

1st Timothy, chapter 2 verses 3-4 says.
2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Translation1:
2:3 This is good and pleasing in the eyes of God our Saviour; 2:4 Whose desire is that all men may have salvation and come to the knowledge of what is true.

Interpretation1:
2.3 And so we will/should pray for all, including the kings and rulers of all - well and acceptable to God. It is well in itself and it pleased God our Savior. The fact that Paul here calls God the Savior; hidden deep meaning. God wants all men to be saved. Therefore pray for all - means to promote the fulfillment of His will in this regard.

2.4 The following explains what is said in verse 3. God wants all men to be saved (Ezekiel 33.11, John. 3.16, 2 Pet. 3.9). Therefore, we must pray for all people everywhere.

In these verses its clearly/obviously we see the divine and human aspects of salvation. The first part states that a person must be saved. He couldn’t do it on his own, that God must save him. This is the Divine aspect of salvation. In order to be saved, one must attain the knowledge of the truth. God does not save anyone by force. Man must come to Him “Jesus” that he who said, "I am the way and the truth and the life." It is the human aspect to come.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1st Timothy, chapter 2 verses 1-2 says.
1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

Hi Ruger 1

Lets start with Romans 9:11.

The Biblical noun elect refers to those who are chosen,ELECTION means the process of choosing.
Words which refer to Gods electing or choosing people are used in three different ways.
Terms for election sometimes describes Gods choice of a person to do a special task.
For example,in vv. 10-13 God chose Jacob instead of Esau to be the line of descent through
whom the people of Israel would emerge.
Eph. 1:3-6 describes Gods choice of what He would make out of those who believe in Christ.
Before the foundation of the world God determined that those who believed would be made
holy and addopted as His children.  They would be Christ like  ROMANS 8:29,30.

Have a wonderfull day Deana
Your friend in Christ

Nice try Gouda,,:)  , but no cigar..lol,,but betcha ya don't smoke anyway..lol..

You and others will not get away from the obvious no matter how hard you try,,And now that it has been brought up to the fore front of your mind I trust you will see it every time you read,,,,I am happy to have had this opportunity to share,,If God chooses not to reveal these truths at this time there is always tomorrow,...

Unfortunately at this time it won't matter what I post because you all are not prepared to hear,,It is very hard to undo years of theological brainwashing,,Sorry but it is true..But, if you seek the scripture and ask God to reveal His Word I trust that He will show you...

Deanna,,
