I respect him for standing up and trying to do the right thing, his legal battle went on for a couple of years. I haven't seen you condemn the LAPD's actions, are you one of the good ole boys?

Maybe your perception of right and wrong is different from most. It's apparent from your posts that the government can do no wrong and all is good in the name of the star spangled banner. No one is glorifying this man's actions, we sympathize with what has driven him over the edge.

Felloffer,

Government does wrong, but I accept government for what it is, only as good as the people we elect. It is always a work in progress. Something I learned when I bought an old house.

I can certainly sympathize with being frustrated and not appreciated at a job. I never would shoot anyone over my discrimination. I would seek remedies in other ways.

Yes, BE certainly is glorifying revolt. You got that wrong. It is like a secret code almost, the percieved shock and blinders that are employed.

"What they failed to mention in the BOR was Teresa Evans own use of force history during her career on the LAPD. She has admitted that she has a lengthy use of force record and has been flagged several times by risk management. She has a very well known nickname, Chupacabra, which she was very proud to flaunt around the division. She found it very funny and entertaining to draw blood from suspects and arrestees. At one point she even intentionally ripped the flesh off the arm of a woman we had arrested for battery (sprayed her neighbor with a garden water hose). Knowing the woman had thin elastic skin, she performed and Indian burn to the woman’s arm after cuffing her. That woman was in her mid-70′s, a mother and grandmother, and was angry at her tenants who failed to pay rent on time. Something I can completely understand and I am sure many have wanted to do toward tenants who do not pay their rent. Teresa Evans was also demoted from a senior lead officer rank/position for performance issues."

Slam, does the action of Teresa Evans kicking a suspect repeatedly - if true - suggest a level of derangement or does one actually have to kill someone like Dorner did to be deemed "deranged"?

Should she not have been fired from the LAPD especially given her history cited above assuming that the allegations are true? Are you being selective in your condemnation of the actors in what has been unfolding? Would you agree that the LAPD is culpable in the situation that has unfolded?

keepthefaith,
your wasting your time.

by beetree on 08 February 2013 - 23:02

This is surreal.

Can't any one stay on topic? This is about the Ex LAPD cop who wrote and leaked a manifesto outlining who needs to die because he alleges corruption in his workplace. Since everyone he works with has guns, they got worried, overreacted and shot the wrong people thinking it was the bad guy they were shooting.

Now everyone wants to be clever and make sure they get their agenda's lined up in a row. Oh brother.

BeeTree I am for peaceful Revolution .. stop making me sound violent. Your agenda is clear and promotes the violence.

You are the one here who thinks 6 officers are allowed to shoot up a 71 year old Latino newspaper delivery woman and her 41 year old passenger driving an entirely different make/model/color vehicle for the wanted male suspect is fine and dandy - just pay them for their time - is beyond belief.

You have lost your mind.

by beetree on 08 February 2013 - 23:02

Not at all BE. please, your agenda makes you twist things. Really. Get a grip.

You need to be able to understand plain language in separate contexts. You play a simple game, really. It won't carry and never has. Your favored candidate and platform is always on the fringe. I would hate to rip off those rosey glasses for you, so I won't because I see no need.
