https://www.dropbox.com/s/mqsn04st5awv6jb/GH011328_1601732306388.MP4?dl=0Hidden in the bushes. Dog never trained to bite a leg. Never bite a suit until this. I believe if the dog is suitable for this work he should bite any thing or any where. Imo the frame of mind is very important. Fellow in the suit is not a decoy he is just a friend.. This is raw no edit. Dog is 2 years old. Owend by me

What would dog do if you did not 'cue' him, and the person just approached aggressively from the bushes in an unfamiliar area, as if you were just going for a walk and some whacko 'attacked'? I think that would tell you a lot more, IMO. Lucky the dog did not target the man's torso or arm.

Stomach and arm are protected by covert suit. This is the opening to what you talk about. I know he will handle himself in an appropriate manner if that case arise. Its very easy to tell that by his mind set and the way he behaves. This dog has a good level of suspicion but keeps himself under control. But at home when I have control of him he would not behave that way. If on his own he would not let you by

Well, if the dog targeted the man's torso or arm, I am certain the owner would control the situation. Better question, is the guy wearing a cup, lol.
Can we see your dog doing as you described.....video please.

Nice work, Very nice dog, bladeedge. Beautiful dog...consistent in his targeting. Brave guy decoying for you.

Edit: bladeedge, you got your post up before me. I was responding to the other person's post.

Joan a cup was provided 😂. And as I said arm's are protected as well. This is an amazing dog. And still only a young lad

Good to hear the man was protected, that covert suit is quite good then as it's not obvious.

Dog did well, nice to see the good 'out' and control.

for PP i would like to see other video, other scenario, dog is working in prey all the time, nice dog and grip on suit however

Have you considered muzzle fighting the decoy without any protective equipment - to simulate a more free-flowing fight? You can then progress to muzzle fight the decoy wearing the suit. Then remove the muzzle for bite. We did a similar sequence with my GSD yesterday. I’m guessing your dog is familiar with the suit and he knows that’s where he can bite..and he’s not specifically targeting the decoy’s groin area, but the linen instead.

GK1 muzzle on suit will still make the dog work in prey, and not tell you anything more

The dog is very active in a muzzle and I don't use a suit. He shows very high aggression and would seriously hurt you. Very hard to show how strong this dog is holds serious power
