Woman posted to a Dobie Facebook group about "her" blk & tan male Dobe, which she claims "rescued" her in the Everglades, so she brought it home with her; says the dog responds to German and French, but not so much to English or Spanish. Claims to have found the dog a few months ago, makes no mention of having tried to find it's owner.
Far-fetched, I realize, but if it were my dog and someone heard about this and blew it off as too bizarre, I'd be heartbroken to learn of it only after it was too late to do anything about it. PM me for more info if the dog rings a bell...doesn't look like a senior dog, medium cropped ears [definitely NOT a show crop], tail docked.
