Looking for any reliable information on Connie and Olix in terms of their individual qualities as well as their genetic contributions

think connies offspring speaks for itself, think one of the best, of not, the best producing females in the breed

One of the best RECENT producing females in the breed. There sure are other great producing females but all of them have been dead for about 20-30 years ;)

Thanks for the replies which are encouraging. I'm asking because I'm looking at a breeding that is 4-3 on Tyson out of Olix X Connie, 5-4 on Olix and 5-4 on Connie.

depends a lot over which dogs, having a 4-5 on Connie doesnot allways mean you will have dogs that are typical for her offspring, we have several dogs that are strong producers after that line, and others who are not

Both connie and olix solid producers connie the dam of staatsmacht foundation bitch Orla, connie,s strength comes from fado and fado strength comes from the best foundation bitch the karthago kennel ever had Afra stoppenberger land female.... Olix has both a line breeding on on the super strong producing female umsa plus the afra female also, u might get a decent litter but ive learned years ago a real nice working pedigree still  does not always promise great pups, but it helps put the odds in your favor, do you care to show the proposed mating pair ped.?

Olix is linebred 3-3 on Arek and also has Eddy vorderen Schalk who was widely overlooked. I'm actually glad that Eddy has gotten a lot more exposure recently. He was a seriously nice dog.

I don't care to share the breeding pedigree. I have done my homework and have been fortunate enough to have assistance from people with decades of experience in the breed. The breeder has been involved in the breed for over 40 years. I was mainly looking for confirmation of what I suspected from the line breeding aspect. I am well aware that breedings are a gamble, but the breeder has a lot of firsthand experience with the dogs very close up in the pedigree. I feel confident that the odds are in my favor. My prediction is a dog with good health, very high prey balanced with aggression for real man work, clear headedness and very good confidence. In other words, a dog that can excel at sport, has the genetics for real apprehension work, and not a reactive sharp dog that can't be in normal social settings. I can only hope the breeding takes and I get the pup I'm hoping for.

I will add there are two other dogs the breeding is line bred on that I doubt most don't know much about. That would be 5-5 on Arne Eqidius and 5-5 on Conan Divici plamen, 2X WUSV.
