Hey folks, can anyone tell me the "story" of Rikkor? Who owns him? I heard he was sold straight after presentation ceremony in Nürnberg 1998, is it true? Where is he now? Anything? Thanks. Thomas

It is my understanding that Rikkor's Breeder is and always has been Rikkor's Owner! Hans-Peter Rieker Steigstraße 35 D-73101 Aichelberg http://www.bad-boll.com e-mail: hans-peter.rieker@t-online.de

So him beeing sold in the stadion for some huge amount of money is just a stupid rumour? Some one I know claims there was an article about it in the local newspaper after the Siegerschau...

I was at OG Bad-Boll last Tuesday night at their training and personally talked to Hans-Peter, current owner of Rikkor. Rikkor is at and continuely being used at stud at Zwinger vom Bad-Boll. He has never been sold, an unlikely event. VKH, you're right on the money! ...contact number & address too! When I go to training there tomorrow night, I'll throw that at Hans-Peter and make him laugh.

Hi Zarenwald, You sure you didnt hear that about Timo, as thats just about what happened with him he was off to Taiwan right after the show, but not Nurnberg.

Slightly off topic- is there a trend of slow growing dogs out of Rikkor? I heard a rumor he produces "late bloomers" so to speak, what do you all think? I have an 11 months old very lovely Rikkor daughter, she just seems a bit small for her age. Otherwise she is a correct young dog with a super temperament.

No, definitely 1998 in Nürnberg. And the price was ASTRONOMICAL!

There are many lines that mature slowly. It's not usual to have to wait until 3yrs old, for a male to fully mature. I think females run a little quicker and are there closer to 2. Deb

Kelly - My Rikkor granddaughter is on the petite side too. A perfect package though. She definitely took after the Bad-Boll side of the family. Height and weight within standard. Perfect conformation. I picked her because her grandsire was one of the smaller world siegers, but one of the biggest in drive. She will be mixed with my larger Zamb male, who is almost too big. I am praying for the happy medium beauty and brains pup. wish me luck! Her hips were recently done and a I see a definite A1 normal. If OFA'd no less than excellent I bet. And yes, I am bias on Rikkor, but I've seen for myself... Rikkor rox in structure, on a smaller scale ....

My Rikklor male didn't finish until he was a little over 3. There was a lot of change between 2 years 3 months and 3 years.
