Same odor, more tubes...different configurations with distractions. Building obedience to odor and search behavior.
One tube has TNT. The rest have distraction odors (hot dogs, gloves, baggies, cat food, chew treats, biscuts, half a tennis ball)

Nice and well-thought-out training! Great idea to have the distraction odours as those types of articles will be encountered in the working environment. The design of the tubes - is that so the dog will develop a deep nose and you can reward with food through the hole in the back of it? I like that - the reinforcement of the correct behaviour will be closely associated with the target odour that way, rather than the dog 'leaving' the odour to get the reward (ie. throwing the toy). Of course the clicker marking the behaviour is a solid enforcement tool. This pup has great promise!
