I can't find the words to say what I think of the scumbags that would do this... I clicked on a rescue page this morning in support of a Cavalier spaniel named Lucy. Lucy's page had this posting about a Chihuahua from a puppy mill in North Carolina: https://www.facebook.com/mangoonamission/posts/591513630986977

She was born without front limbs, but the bastards who ran the puppy mill didn't care (they probably got her for free due to her deformity...) and they STILL let her breed! Of course, 2 of her litter of 5 inherited her deformity!!  Angry Smile

I don't live in the States, but I'd like to encourage those who do to do everything possible to put these low-lifes OUT OF BUSINESS!!

sick.

What's the problem with that? I mean, c'mon, SS, over half of her pups DID have all four legs, so you're just being a glass-half-empty kind of person...and she doesn't need front legs to whelp and raise puppies!

[Turns off bitter sarcasm font]

I can't even begin to fathom the reasoning behind this, save for the greed factor.

They're a lot easier to catch that way.

no legs = smaller crates = stack them higher.

Come on guys, its not about easier housing or less expensive to feed! Its a new designer breed, the HalfChi.

Yeah, the perfect purse puppy! And everyone will think you are so MARVELOUS for giving the poor thing a home! :(
