Show me a six month old you can't steal out of the yard, and if you can't, it's not hte type of dog I'd want. I've got that type and it's NOT CONFIDENCE, it's fear!

THIS is a confident puppy. His fight will kick in, his defense will kick in with maturity and age.

Also, with his future, he better be social because he's going to be a SAR dog. There is more to the German Shepherd Dog than defensive dogs!

In this litter alone, we've got one pup doing French Ring, Seizure Alert Dogs, Police Prospects with Cops and SAR Prospects. Their drives kick in naturally. No need to build it. They've got plenty of it. https://vimeo.com/204649941

Ill be waiting to be surprised when you will put up vids of this pup bark/hold, guarding and escape, im not holding my breath
till than I prefer the Bismack pup, both in video and pedigree

That Bismarck pup should have been asked to do something that resembled work and training, like the kovac pups. Then people could actually have an informed opinion.

I personally thought it was embarrassing for the breeder.

There will be videos. He's an awesome puppy. Goes over everything and anything, absolutely fearless when it comes to climbing, tight dark spaces. He's pure confidence. I like the slower maturing and clear headed dogs. It seems to be a trend that people think of clear headed pups as low drive, unfortunately.

Baren

In many dogs the confidence emerges upon mental maturity but the " kick ass fire " emerged from quite young remains into maturity.

Not always, Mithuana. Some of the strongest and hardest dogs have not shown anything until they were 15 months old and didn't do bitework until they were 16 months. You have much to learn.

VK, no... I'm just not afraid to show what I've got. Thats not hyping my kennel. I don't need to hype it.

Baren
what does this going over everything indicate. I had a full grown male here that flew over the street grate climbed onto the kitchen sink . I dropped a very large weigh next to him and he did not even pay attention. Yet if he did not know you could even think of approaching him.
