| I read an old post on here about a GSD who was kicking his rear legs outward when he walked or ran. My 61/2 old boy does the same. I thought he was cow hocked but the xrays showed the tibial curve with the right being worse than the left. I am waiting for the radiologist to give his expertise. But the vet said they will not straighten out. I am very upset and don't want my boy to live a life of pain. Anyone have any info on this? Thanks |

is this an ongoing issue that you've just noticed or something new? is your dog in pain or just have an odd gait? what do you do with your dog? |

| Hi SistasMom~ When I got him at 91/2 weeks, he was a little cow hocked. But many I have seen were like this and were fine. He is 68lbs at 61/2 months and is very lean and lanky. Not his prettiest phase. As far as pain, I don't think it bothers him. I can tell his rear right foot twists a bit more if we walk too far, so I have shortened our walks. He has a great appetite and seems normal otherwise. I would like to do more OB, but when heeling, the turns seem to be hard for him. He is slow and uncoordinated. Maybe he's still too young? |

keep your lessons short and fun and as long as it doesn't bother him continue. could you post a link to the thread you referred to? thanks, kim |
