Question for those of you who have more experience with this.....I was told to get Amazon Prime to access prime movie channels like HBO, Starz, etc. as well as big network television like CBS, A&E, FX, etc., then HULU to get local stations like PBS, local news, rural station RFDTV, etc.  And possibly Netflix for everything else.  What do you all think?

A lot depends on what you like to watch. I switched from cable to Netflix, Amazon and Hulu about two years ago and am very happy with the selection. And my bill went from $100 to about $30 per month. All three have some major network shows, but I think Hulu has the most up to date shows. A lot of shows on Netflix are several; seasons behind. All three have their own series as well, and some are quite good. Netflix has the most current movies.
