von Kazmaier

I did want you to know about a FRAUD using your and advertising on THIS site. Not only have they broken Internet Trade Laws, Laws in FL also. Yes. I have reported them to several Authorities.

THIS IS THE ADVERTISEMENT I ANSWERED ON PEDIGREE DATABASE WEBSITE POSTED BY " Sent by GSDITB":

http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/classifieds.viewad?adid=251685

"German Shepherd pups from all German import stock. Pups are large boned and will make wonderful companions and competition dogs. Males and female available. Black and Tan Very Large heads and super thick bone. Home raised and very well socialized. Will come with all shots, state certified health certificates and AKC papers. Feel free to call, text or email for more pictures, video and or information. 386-243-2759"

THE TRUTH....

I believe I have a Puppy Mill to report in the Ormand Beach, FL area.

We bought a GSD making it very clear we wanted the AKC Papers Full Registration and they continually assured me that they were and that the dogs were REALLY NICE AND I PAID MORE FOR FULL AKC REGISTRATION OF THIS DOG.

What got off the plane on Saturday, Dec 3, 2016, was a 11.4 pound (GSD at 8 weeks should weight an average of 20 pounds), dark colored dog with a roach back, high set tail, extreme sickle tail, lop ears (not cute little GSD puppy ears, the type that are folded over down at the side and creased, very poor breeding). That is just the MAJOR Faults. THIS PUPPY LOOKS LIKE IT IS PART BEAGLE HOUND.

AND NO AKC PAPERS.....when I contacted them I got the old "the AKC is slow.....". I contacted the AKC on December 6, 2016. She looked it up to find that the litter was NOT Registered until December 2, 2016.

After paying what they asked Mike Clay, tried to raise the price on the day I paid.
He also had told me of they 'often have puppies for sale'.

I KNOW I SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE RED FLAGS!
And to top it off the name on the shipping papers, different yet, a Nichole Szpara....this can't be ligament, reputable breeders. I have dealt with those good people FOR YEARS!

THESE FOLKS ARE NOT STANDING BY THE PUPPY. They told me to let them know if I did not want the puppy.....but then when I did contact them to say I would like to ship her back....TOO BAD!, nothing wrong with the pup, they said. Later told me to ship the puppy back and they would pay when she arrived.....with all the lying they have done, NO WAY WAS I GOING TO LET THEM GET ME FOR ANOTHER $350 SHIPPING CHARGE SO THAT THEY COULD STIFF ME FOR THE PUPPY COST AND SELL THIS PUP AGAIN TO SOMEONE THAT WOULD NOT KNOW SHE IS NOT PURE BRED, OR AT LEAST VERY POORLY BRED WITH SEVERAL GENETIC PROBLEMS!

Further, the one who's name is on the AKC Papers does not respond to my emails. Sent the fraud dog to us, done, silence.

Their Names and Address:

I have now removed to other two names as they do not belong to the phone number on the Advertisement. Western Rider

Address removed seller has not made that public Western rider

Thank you for taking the time to read my complaint.

I am sorry you did not come to PDB before you bought the puppy. Could have saved some heartbreak..

by hexe on 07 December 2016 - 04:12

Nans, but they DID come to PDB before they bought the puppy....this is where they saw the ad, hence why they have made this post.

Can you post a photo of the pup?

Are these people a USDA-licensed operation? They are required to be, since they are selling and shipping puppies that the buyer hasn't seen prior to the pup being shipped...

Reliya

The USDA license is only required if they have more than four bitches.

Actually, they can own more than four breeding aged females and breed to them and not get licensed if they only have four of those females on their property. If the other females are placed in foster homes, for example, and the breeder only has four on their property, they can sell sight unseen without requiring a license. If they have five breeding aged females (even if they aren't breeding to the fifth female, say she's a six month old that just went into heat) then they require a license at this point. But that can be avoided by sending that puppy to another residence.

Thanks for your replies. I have had WONDERFUL DOGS SHIPPED TO US BEFORE FROM REPUTABLE BREEDERS! These folks know just how to answer questions and how to take a photo just in the right angle. I have been a member here for 3 years. I joined when I got back into GSD. www.WorkingGermanShepherdDogs.com and VonKazmaier.com ~ that's us

I would be worried about an 8 week old pup that was 20+ pounds. My pup who grew up to be 95 pounds and 29" tall was 18.5 at 8 weeks. Most of my pups are 12-15 pounds at that age.

The larger a pup is, ime, the more likely his ears will be down/flopped at 8 weeks. It is very likely his ears will stand up as he matures.

You seem concerned that he was dark colored? Saddle pattern GSDs get lighter as they mature, gaining a bit more tan with every coat change.

Was the pup sick when you got him? Wormy? Diarrhea? Coccidia? What did your vet say on the first health check?

Sounds like the AKC papers were in process, so the seller be forwarding the registration information to you after he received it. Although, if I had a buyer who was considering returning a pup, I would hold the papers until we had things worked out, just to prevent problems.

von Kazmaier  is this the pup you bought, do you have pictures of your pup that show it to be of such poor conformation and condition that would show that there was some kind of fraud.

Edited to add.

If you cannot show fraud we will remove that word from the title.
