Hans: Susie please explain to us how come that we can get a litter of all solid black pups when all solid blacks go back to Roland tens of generations ago? That according to your theory is not possible.

Prove that Roland was the FIRST black dog in the world! That's a really dumb question because that would mean Roland was created with out parents...like he got his color from the matrix of outer space.

According to "me" every dog in a pedigree is responsible for the outcome- but !
the further back, the less influence, and the lower the probability to get what you want....
Every generation you loose 50% of the initial traits of the single ancestors, to the same time you get fresh 50%,

Like it or not , it's genetics.

I can do the same thing with Male bloodlines.
Your understanding of genetics is silly. And I too "am trying to be polite". I call your understanding of genetics "1+1=2 genetics". Unfortunately, such silliness is quite common and in detriment to the breed.

OK  here is another point. You say :in "Every generation you loose 50% of the initial traits of the single ancestors, to the same time you get fresh 50%," What about if the " fresh 50% " I get is the same as the one in a former generation? Then that would prove my point that breeding in line works because that is what we are doing when we breed in line - adding the same genes and do it for generations.
