But it's not classless to call out the whole system after just seeing less than 1% of it? You're a confused individual...no wonder the clubs wouldn't accept you.

Wasn't the dog you speak of 9 months old when you found out it had crippling hip dysplasia?

7 months old, wasn't crippling dysplasia.  If it were, I wouldn't have asked her to do what she was doing, that would have been cruel.

But you're right, while you treat us exactly as we say we've been treated, we're the ones spreading lies Thinking

Keep on living in your world where you're always right and nobody else's experiences matter ^_^

Ciao ciao

If someone doesn't like my dog, that is their right. I still don't get it why owners take other's opinions of a dog personally.
We love the GSD and want what is best for the dog, extreme angulation is not. Sorry if that offends anyone (it shouldn't as I still love you, just not your idea of what a GSD should be ;) )
I like the GSD in the standard, which I might add, is a calm dog, that IPO and Schutzhund breeders seem to have bred out of them too.
Just read a newspaper article where two German shepherds attacked a 4 year old boy and seriously injured him - would have killed him. I voiced that concern a long time ago, that if we continue to use high prey drive as a reason for breeding, that this would happen. VERY sad. The GSD used to be a dog that loved children, which is why it has always been my favourite breed. Watchful, protective, discerning, intelligent, calm, courageous and beautiful to boot. I hope and pray breeders continue to breed that kind of a dog, - or I may have to start breeding ;)

Red Sable don't think anyone has a problem with others not liking their ' Type' it's the way it's said that's offensive by some.

Lol...so a ton of of experience. Dog was 7 months old when you had to retire it...yet this was the dog you claim would've easily titled because it had beautiful retrieves? You must be a master dog trainer who taught perfect retrieves to a 7 month old puppy. I'm sure the dog bit nothing more than a rag for the *possibly* 5 months that you did show up to club...more than likely it was 2 or 3, so lets call it a total of 12 sessions if that. But yeah...you're the person that people need to be listening to in regards to how IPO clubs are and how IPO is trained.

Stick to running around in circles and discussing those dogs...you're out of your league and I'm not going to allow you to make it out to others as if you've got more experience than you do. Didn't you just give up on training your dogs in herding as well because that got too hard? Rally obedience is becoming the breed test for ASL...and even that's too hard sometimes. CGC and breed that thing.

Xeph still does herding with her dogs, but it's been a couple months because of the major shows at this time of the year. I don't even show dogs and I knew that much. I've just been lurking and had to say something because it's a false assumption.

Is this thread STILL a sticky because the mods want it this way? 🤔

You simply have to distinguish between any sport titles ( agility, dock diving, dog dancing, barn hunt ...) good for your beloved dog and good for you, and titles good for the breed.
I tried to explain this several times, a lot of breeds are able to participate and title in "modern" dog sports, but only a few breeds ( and even out of these breeds not all dogs ) are able to participate and title in IPO.
Almost any IPO dog will be able to participate in agility, but not any agility dog will be able to participate in IPO -
and at that point there should / must be ( a first ) selection.

Agility champion = maybe a great dog
IPO = maybe a breedworthy dog

Lol...Fervious...what big shows? Do tell what kinds of big shows there are in January? How many shows even last longer than Saturday/Sunday? I guess Monday through Friday are rest days for most dogs. Couple of months...stop defending people you don't know. No show schedule lasts a "couple of months." When it's more important for a person to prance their dog in a circle than to actually train it to do something...they'll prance their dog in a circle. Maybe you should actually look up what it takes to get those bare minimum herding titles she goes on about...compare it to an IPO1 if you get a chance. Unfortunately...you're just like the rest of them...fall faster for some BS rhetoric and don't even bother to look at the facts.
