A lot of good dogs came out of Tyson I did not know they used him so often, they must have really like what he produced to keep going back.

For readers wanting to research on pedigrees punching at the progeny tree tool at the top left of any dogs pedigree gives alot of info, but it cannot be considered a master list for every dog as some dogs on this site never make it onto workingdogeu and vice versa. Looking at what came off of Tyson the major branches for shear number of dogs, it looked like Quintus Eqidius,Cherry Eqidius,Hoky-Va Pe and the B-litter brothers Black-Jack,Basco,Balco

Zira Egidius is another one of their foundation females

Zira is one of the early females in the kennels history,I do not see a birthdate on her but a lot of theses dogs back in this era are missing birthdates.

I really like the pedigree of Quintus Eqidius I can see why so many kennels wanted to use him as a stud at least on paper he looks very good but that doesn't always translate to how well a male produces,he looks to be around ten years old now anyone know if he is still alive or does someone own a dog out of him that can report what his offspring are like ?

Zira Eqidius (out of Blek x Fabi) was born 5 June 1999 and I believe she died Sept. 2011.

Quintus is now in Sweden. As recent as April this year, he was still being used as stud, his latest litter has 11 pups. http://en.working-dog.eu/breed/Gramanns-59725

Prior to being sold to Sweden, Quintus was doing quite well in the regional championship in Germany and participated in a few BSP championship under 2 different owners. I like his pedegree too with Tyson and Nike as Sire and Dam.

Ya it would be nice i think having a pup out of him i didnt see him in Eqidius current breeding females when i went to the kennels website page but it looked like both Nash and Drago were in alot of the females pedigrees. It appears a repeat breeding for Quintus and Cherry

I havent noticed that many dogs with Quintus Eqidius or Nike Eqidius in pedigrees here in the states, I did notice a Quintus Eqidius son in Parrish,s kennel a stud dog and this years winner of the 2015 BSP Bolle has Nike in his dam,s side of his pedigree.
