First, they called it global warming, thanks Al Gore. And to the best of my knowledge, nothing, absolutely nothing he predicted happened.

Also the last ten years or so I think it has actually, very minutely trended a little bit cooler.

So now, the powers that be decided to change it from global warming to climate change, since the trend wasn't warming. Amazing lol

They are moving the goalposts in a feeble attempt to continue with this hoax.

And you can rest assure its all about collecting your $$$$$$$$$$$

And they are all in this together, that's why I mentioned Nixon, he was a Republican. Now the Democrats worship global warming.

Also, when the earth was slightly warming, so was Mars. They aren't burning fossil fuels on Mars. The main thing we share with Mars is the Sun. The temperature on both planets fluctuates with the increase or decrease of solar activity as in sun spots.

Mountain lion, what a concept! The sun heats the earth!!??

In fact, I have noticed the last several years that touching anything sitting out in the sun is so hot it'll burn my hand as though it was in a hot oven!
Walking under a tree and hitting small areas of sunlight, it feels like a torch on my neck...I actually closed my eyes and walked under a sparse shade tree, and imediately could tell when I was in an exposed spot of sunlight.
Couldn't be that the sun is putting out more heat, could it?

As for carbon on emissions....what has China and india done in the way of reducing the factory emissions? Nothing!!

The USA on the other hand, has exceeded the "required" reduction of emissions all without being "forced" to by some global pact!

So, we are in the middle of solar minimum, why isn't the earth rapidly cooling? Instead, it is still getting warmer. Why? This past summer, very few sun spots but yet we are still heating. Why, oh great ones?

A periodic solar event called a "grand minimum" could overtake the sun perhaps as soon as 2020 and lasting through 2070, resulting in diminished magnetism, infrequent sunspot production and less ultraviolet (UV) radiation reaching Earth — all bringing a cooler period to the planet that may span 50 years.

The last grand-minimum event — a disruption of the sun's 11-year cycle of variable sunspot activity — happened in the mid-17th century. Known as the Maunder Minimum, it occurred between 1645 and 1715, during a longer span of time when parts of the world became so cold that the period was called the Little Ice Age, which lasted from about 1300 to 1850.

lol, could happen. Climate change in the meantime is happening. Absurd to bring a could've up when you can't even accept facts happening in your lifetime. And being this happened 300+ years ago how do we know it is ever going to happen again? As we continue to warm you are bring up something that you aren't even sure happened but you ignore what is happening right in front of your eyes. You say sunspots are causing this warm up but then when I say we are in solar minimum you bring up something that hasn't happened in 300+ years, weird. Finally most republicans are actually coming on board to the fact the planet is warming.

You global cooling deniers will all freeze to death in your little Priuses...

The planet is warming while we are having extremely cold autumn...with temps in the low 20s plus sleet and freezing rain, and ice two inches thick over nite in water buckets.

Yep, sure is warming up down here in the deep South. s/

Well here in the south it is back in the 80s with high humidity in the beginning of December.  We had upper 90's until the week before Thanksgiving.  Each year is getting hotter and more humid.  Last year we had a couple weeks of cooler weather in January that was in the upper 60's lower 70's and then back up to the 80's.  I usually stick to valid science based but this is a pretty good summary of arguments used by climate change deniers and the counter based in science and fact.

Mindhunt, wait til it gets 110 with heat index of 125 in the summer...which it was nearly 40 years ago in
SUB- TROPPICAL FL !

It's the weather, minhunt, not climate...remember?
