Pfizer. no issues so far other feeling a little weak on Saturday and sleeping probably 18 hours. I had dodged it for as long as I could take it and not go nutty. I do have a couple of underlying health issues.

my dad (93) and one sister got Moderna and no issues. Other sister got Pfizer and no issues.

and I absolutely respect anyone's decision on what they do. I just finally came to the conclusion that it was best for me.

just rambling,
Rik

Rik, I got my second one last Friday. This one did not give me the local pain the first one did as bad on my upper shoulder, but, even with the first one, I took two Tylenol and that was it.
I cant even say it made me feel any different, tired, sick or whatever...nothing really.
I really dont care what others say about my decision to get the vaccine, Pfizer, I feel better knowing that I have it.

Good for you guys, everyone offered should take it, waiting on my 2nd one and no issues with the first.

I'm scheduled to get mine next week. On my birthday, no less!

I'm going to have an early birthday celebration with my family, just in case I get a bad reaction. I've been wiped out by the flu vaccine a few times, so I know it can happen!

Sunsilver, my youngest had his last week, I took him, no side effects, just the same localized pain everyone had on their fist injection, two Tylenol later, he was all good.
I am certain you will be fine and good for you for taking it.

SS, many people are at an age, not saying you, with underlying health concerns, that it comes down to "dammed if I do and damned if I don't. the anxiety is high on both sides, at least for me.

I think I made the best choice for me and all is well so far. and just in my sphere, it has gone well for everyone,  (Moderna and Pfizer). that includes my 93 yo dad (Moderna) and my sister and me with health issues (Pfizer) and all are good.

best,

Rik

Although the wife and I (early 50’s) are in great health, we thought it our duty to get vaccinated. Conveneint thru the VA. I actually got the 1st Pfizer jab 3 weeks after a total hip replacement. I won’t say I felt wonderful after either jab, but I was not deterred from my daily activities. My hounds wouldn’t let me. Days after the arthroplasty I was sitting in the yard tossing the ball and pool toys.  Put the jacket on the other day and took some prey/play bites, but it will be a few more months I suspect before I can really load weight on that side, pivot, sprint etc.. Won’t move like I did at 20, 30 or even 40 anymore, too much wear and tear..but it some ways I feel healthier than ever. Hate to say it, but the pandemic improved/educated me.

I got the J&J last week. So far the just a small amount of pain at the injection site is my only side affect.

Have now had both shots, and nearly zero side effects. Some very slight soreness at the injections site, but much less than when I used to get allergy shots in my teens.

Very happy with the outcome!

Had my 2nd shot (OxfordAZ) a couple of weeks back. Zero side effects.
