Axel is a good natured dog that keeps well in a kennel. Rarely barking and never looking to escape. He is VERY drivey and when playing with a ball extreme caution must be taken as it is not a casual game to him. Few Shepherds exhibit this type of drive for a ball coupled with his extreme speed in seeking it. He has good fight in bitework and active aggression.
Axel is a medium sized male about 70-75 pounds. He is a lighter boned and more atheletic than most Shepherds. He produces larger than himself most of the time. His sire was a 90 pound dog as was his grand sire on his dams side.
Axel comes from a very proven litter. He has three brothers working as police service dogs. All three certified at under 2 years of age and all were trained to the Psp/DHI standard. A sister is also a narcotics K9. All littermates had good hips.
His pedigree is unique in that it brings proven police dog lines that also produced well for world level competitions. This is most clear with his grandsire, Eron Mat-Roz who's sister Erika was the 1997 FCI World Champion. His other grandsire is Otis vom Jacobiner Schloß who's sister Olive competed 5 times in the Bundessieger Prufung.
Axel's sire is (CJ) Cejlon z Hundorfu, SchH3, DPO-2, PSP-1, Cert. Narc. Police K9 until almost 11 years of age which show the great longevity of these bloodlines. CJ represented the USA in the 1999 German Bundessieger Police Dog Championships.
Axel is a huge asset to our breeding program at Klatolklin K9 and we hope to use him for several years to come. If you are interested in more information on Axel, please visit our website at www.klatolklin.com |
