Here is an example of this database/notice board being a great thing - I hadn't heard from anyone about Nathalie, and now I read here she is gone. Its always devastating to lose a dog you love, but perhaps more so when it is responsible for so much in a kennel - having won her title (never easy for a sable) she has also produced for Antilli in each of her litters and was an example of a truly solid GSD character, producing the same. Im glad I saw her last year, and Im truly sorry for Carol and Alyson on their loss. This, for me, the ONLY down side in the breed - giving your heart to a dog... and knowing it can only be for a limited time. Congratulations on all she and you guys acheived together. So sorry to hear of Nathalie's passing she was a beautiful female ..we had the pleasure of looking after her when she was mated to Enzo Buchhorn.. her character was superb, full of fun and always wanting to please you..She will live on through her lovely progeny ..Our thoughts are with Carol & Alyson at this sad time.. | So glad we got to see Nat a few weeks ago, full of life, still ruling the roost, and so aptly named the Queen of Caskeys. | It is with great sadness that I write about the recent death of a great female, Champion Nathalie, who was at the heart of the Antilli kennel for Carol and Alyson, who will be devastated by her loss. I hope they take some comfort in the children and grandchildren from Nat they now have, knowing she will always be remembered. A fabulous sable with an outstanding character and a real loss to all who knew her. |
