First of all I wish to say that I jjust love the dog!
However, whoever said he would be Sieger in Germany in 2008, just was not right. On the other hand, he was presented at the Spanish National Breeding Show on Oct.12, last, and now is Spanish Sieger. But then, we all knew, that he would be just that, seeing as he was the ONLY VA from Germany presented here, and I don't blame the judge, Mr. Scheerer, who also is his breeder, to give him this title, the dog was very well presented and in top condition, and although I am repeating myself, THE ONLY GERMAN VA at this show!!!!
I am not certain at this very moment if he was sold to Spain, or if he is here as a sire for a certain time only. But someone had asked where he was, so you know now ,-).
However, I must say that I lost a friendship here in Spain, because of having recommended a puppy out of a litter from a German breeder. This dog, besides soft ears, had all sorts of intestinal and kidney problems, hardly could eat anything........Just a real mess. I knew the mother dog, who has never before had any problems like that. As a matter of fact, I have a daughter of hers, her father is another German VA, and I don't have those problems, either.
I don't think that I will take a chance with Orbit. I know his breeder personally for many years, and I have absolutely nothing against him, he is really one of the most respected German breeders and judges as far as I am concerned. This is, of course, a subject apart.........
I just think that there is something that brought up everything that has been said, and unfortunately, I had this bad experience here in Spain :-(. However, I cannot swear that everything comes from Orbit, as we always have to take the mother in account, and the grandparents, etc. So I think one has to study this a lit further, seeing as a mother who is great in bitework and has puppies by Orbit who are not good characterwise, it still does not have to be Orbit's fault, what about the generations further back? Or don't they count?
Well, anyway, he is Spanish Sieger and at this moment he is here in Spain........We shall see, right? |
| Has Orbit been sold to a new spanish owner? I've said this is because he competed in the Spanish Sieger. |
| I'm a big fan of this dog! Some people says that he has a bull mastiff head but i think it's one of his unique points that he has a strong head expression! Good Luck to him @ this years Sieger Show |

my dog is 4th years old, 1^ IPO, selection. |
| please tell me the owner name and contact no of Orbit...thanx |
| Orbit is a great VA ,but for a execptional litter ,we most have a very very good FEMALE ! |
| I am anxious to find out who the dam was for the Orbit litter with congenital problems. Wouldn't that shed some light on the Orbit debate? Our Orbit male is beyond our expectations and drop-dead gorgeous. |
| I am not mad at people who have a problem with pupp's of Orbit, just want to say that my pupp is ok for now. Orbit have many mating as a excellent dog, so as a many other VA dog's, so is not wierd that some of pupp's are not so good, the thing is thet there is so mutch better than bad. There is a lot of other's male's who give a some bad pupp's in progeni, that's normal. Bast wishes for you allso ClassAct. |

| I saw 2 puppies from a litter by Orbit. One was a weird dog. Did not like anyone he wasn't familiar with, growled, hackles up. And this was a 4 or 5 month old puppy. Was eventually sold where only one person would be caring for it and would have limited interaction with strangers. The other was decent enough but his ears could have been firmer. Not a spectacular litter. |
I had seven dogs over Orbit vom Hühnegrab and a complete litter about 8 puppies and I can say that all dogs were very good by bitework, but I think it will also be important how the puppies grow up. The motherline is also an important factor for the puppies.
best wishes,
P. Dehmelt |

| I have 6 dog s after orbit. they get the schutzhund with two i have körung. They have a good charakter and very good biting work |
| vldan, good luck to you. But if you read the comments there are at least 4 people with problems from Orbit. Hard to keep blaming the dam. Wish you the best, but you can't get mad at other people that have had bad problems with Orbit dogs, and some that died young. |
| KNineCop is that be comment for my pupp? If it is so i must say that i know that must be a better pupp than mine and i must say allso, looki'n this argue on temperament of Orbit's offspring, mine pupp is fearless! He has no fear of annithing, no dog's or humans all ready! And must say that he had no problem with helth what so ever for now!Thank you verry mutch! |
| Sorry........I forgot to say that the pup was out of Orbit. |
| My friend had a much better looking pup than this. I guess you win though, your dog probably came with kidneys. Good for you!!! Glad that you don't have to euthanize your pup. |

| HAPPY NAW YEAR AND BEST VISHES IN 2007! I have verry beautiful grandson of Orbit, son of Ninno Huhnegrab, his name is Tago Aureus Mons, please look him on gsd and submit a comment of him. Vhat is your oppinion? Regards! |

| Seems to be alot of bad discussions going around about Orbit. Can the mothers be at fault for all the genetic problems and lack of head space? Maybe if the breeders stood behind their breedings, and replaced the genetically, unsound animals, people wouldn't talk to much. |
| Been a VA Dog, Orbit got a big progeny, some puppies will have his caracteristics, other wont, they have a mother too, remember?. I am not saying the defect cant came from him but watch out or there is a chance of not to be fear with the dog and the breed will losse with that. |
WOW!!! This is all become very clear. I have an Orbit dog that is afraid of his own shadow. Obviously, not a good thing being in Police Work. He never made it on the police force. He looks good though, but that's about it. Now he's just an expensive pet due to all his ailments.
It's really a shame |
| I have an Orbit pup that has no drive at all. The breeder blames Orbit, because the Female is a top notch Schutzhund dog. He is a very nice looking dog, but seems to be lacking in head space and drive. I also have read other comments about him and I guess I should be happy that at least he is not dead due to a congenital defect. |

hi all,
wish to know the location of this beautiful specimen .. if anybody could give the info would be a great help to me |
I had an Orbit pup (10 months old) and he was a very promising puppy.
Wish he had come without a congenital defect. Kidneys must be extra.
Should have dealt with a reputable importer.

Orbit has 4 things stopping him from being a seiger: Zamp
Vegas
Ursus/Yasko sireline
Size
I do like Orbit's proportions, balanced angulations & clean topline but I don't like his size & mastiff type head.

| Thats time to see Orbit get in first, we will have a lot years before an other dog can be compared to this one. Look how balanced he is, strong and lean at the same time, with a big massive head and an espetacular croup and upper line, well it is just fantastic! It get to be the SIEGER next time! |
| i like this male very much.orbit is a future german seigar |
| at the siegershow he was black/white, now he has good color |
| I'm a Big Fan of Orbit too, but the only thing that is disheartening about him is his progeny! Quantum and Zamp are leading currently! Otherwise, nothing could've kept Orbit Back. Zamp will go for a double sieger! |
| Very impressive dog as I said! Coming from Timo Berrekasten (Mother side), which brings a guarantee in terms of temperament. Besides his pedigree seems very clean from Hip Displasia. That is a "Show line" dog that got the atributes to lead to the healthfull aspects. "IT HAS A BEAUTIFULL CONFORMATION! IT HAS A GREAT PEDIGREE! IT HAS A GREAT TEMPERAMENT! IT HAS GREAT HIPS AND HIS RELATIVES GOT GREAT HIPS TOO! IT MUST BE OUR NEXT VA1 IN GERMANY! EVERYBODY IS TALKING ABOUT HIM! |
| Yes Krug, I saw your dog. Looks great!. I hope to see Orbit Hunnegrab get the VA1 next year. He looks impressive! |
Please look new photo of my dog Ninno vom Hühnegrab (Orbit son). He is now 19 months old, but he looks great. HD and ED normal.
| my bet on this dog this year,a super dog with super attitude, super mover, the progeny seems to be decent with number of good males as well as good females, combining with timo from dam side creates oppurtunity to experiment and very sound temperament in breeding, with definite and dark saddle marking.sieger this year, yes he is big.. |
| Dog must be observed only in live. You can not judge if your grounds are pictures. Specially size. If it is possible let`s exchange pictures. |
| The dog is not too big at all! I have so many pics of him which very few people may have and there you can see that his size is fine! |
I really like this dog! Seems to have a great bitework aswell..!?
I've read here that someone thinks he is to big? How big is he really?
Would love to use him on one of my females, but the size factor is an issue... |
| I hope that this great dog will be sieger champion this year! ALL THE BEST FOR HIM AND HIS OWNER! GO ORBIT! |
| This Yr it will be the Orbit...... |

| I own a 4 month puppy and i am very pleased with him, he is well structured and has very good temperament. Confident good drives and is a very expresive puppy. |

This dog is absolutely super .... we were there for a breeding, what a super temperament, outgoing and confident dog, around little children with adults no problem at all.
The picture does not do this dog any justice. I was totally impressed. |

Would like to know what the 'hot' news is about Orbit vom Hühnegrab. According SID online he made V1 in Germany (OG Kirch-Pohl-Gons) last sunday, Judge was C. Rudolph.
So what's new? |

The more I see him the more I need to see him again. He is my definite favourite in the VA this year. He has as his grandfather a dog I always admired and will always do so-Timo Berrekasten!!!
ORBIT YOU ARE JUST AWESOME.

Very nice dog for the oversized ring. The normal sized dogs like Ghandi and Kevin were too small for the VA class.
Perhaps they could measure Orbit with both eyes open next time. Sure he is fantastic but so are many oversized dogs that we never see. Bring your little females to him and hope for the best. Fantastic pedigree and very famous owner/Breeder all should do well!! |

i got good eye! ahahahahaa |
| Totally agreed by myself!! it´s a fantastic young male with a great producer potential!!! |
| Saw this male on Sunday being taken around the ring of a show during the lunch break and afterwards being stood for me and others to look at. He is a larger and much stronger version of Yasko IMO of course but with a head like Ursus. He has extensive black saddling and extensive black on the head and muzzle with black, black eyes. I was very impressed with him overall and with his very dynamic movement around the ring with excellent fore reach. this is a male I will most certainly be using sometime soon. He is not 2 years until July but will no doubt make an excellent place at the Sieger and deservedly so on what I saw of him. |

I LIKE THIS DOG I WISH HE HAS MORE HAIR.
