This dog was used in the developement of the Czechoslovakian Wolfdog(CsV).His role was played as follows - In the year 1983 he was bred to a Carpathian wolf named "Lady".This was to be the last of the hybrid litters to be used in the developement of the breed.On April 26,1983 the litter was born in the Southern Bohemian town of Libejovice.Out of this litter came a male Kazan z Pohranicni straze (F1).He was the most influential stud in the final stages of setting the type in the breed of Czech Wolfdogs. The Czechoslovakian Wolfdog is a rare breed in North America, but is used for a variety of purposes from seeing eye dogs to police work in Europe.The Pohranicni Straze were instrumental in its inception and developement.
