Like I said before, Ajit, Bodo is the best showline working dog that I have worked. I think in the last trail (about 3 weeks ago), when he was visiting U.S. with his handler Sigmund Gilch, he scored 90-97-96. I have worked him on a number of occasions and I find him to be very strong and not equipment oriented at all. He, nor his father, have a banana back. They move very effortlessly. His pigment is very dark, and since Sigmund is near the Czech border Bodo is being used by Czech working line breeders to breed to their working bitches. I have seen his progeny. Some of them are working police dogs. Generally speaking, they are way above average working dogs.

Ajay,
There is a discussion on this site re: banana toplines. In my opinion Bodo has a great and original German topline- a topline that works not just for beauty but for working which is what we want from our GSDs.
Tell us more about his VA placing please. He is a great and powerful dog and Howdeedo tells me that he is a much respected working dog out there. Great Pedigree too!!!
How is his progeny please?
Is he owned by THE Randy Tyson,the same lady who trains for 75 police organisations in the USA. |

I have worked this dog myself on a number of occassions and have seen his progeny both in show and in work. I am a working dog person. This dog in my opinion has awesome character, he is super in protection (very real and very good grips) and is one of the best working dogs I have seen coming out of show lines. He is VA in Czech republic. Randy Tyson still owns this dog. In my opinion, this dog should be bred to more.
