I saw this dog at the Norwegian sieger show, last year, where he became VA2. He had been in Norway for some time, but unfortunately the Norwegian breeders didn`t pay him much attention.
He is a very nice dog, and his coloures are truely amazing. |

I have a bitch after this male, and have trained with the owners Michael and Vibeke. I can only say that most of the progency enherites his beautiful colours, and mind. Ambi is an allover nice dog, and most of the danish breeders do agree in this, although some claim that he has/have had a problem with his courage/hardness /not sure if this is the word for it). But after HAS 2002 (the Sieger show) they had to take that back. He was a perfect example of how this was to be done!
His Breeding Class consisted of four males, and four bitches, after four mothers. Generally the eight dogs were simellar to Ambi.
In the summer of 2002 Ambi was registred with 12 matings in Denmark and Germany, where he spent a couple of months with a kennel downthere. I dont know how many matings he got there, but I know for sure that he atleast have got four matings in Denmark, where all the dogs I have seen, are beautiful and of good mentality.
One thing is unfortunately for sure, and that is that Ambi carries the gene for longhair. From the litter, where my dog is from, five out of nine dogs are longhaired. Thus this I think that Ambi is a spendid dog, who have a lot of good thing to offer to the breed. |
