British 'Sieger' 2005 - looking absolutely awesome. Not a dog I've raved about in the past,Elan truly looked great, now fully mature and in top form for the event. Handled to perfection - a class act.
I hope a photograph appears which shows how good he looked on the day.

I am delighted to inform everyone:
ELAN VAN HERDERSKRING MADE VA3 AT THE SWISS SIEGER TODAY.
This follows his impressive TSB test yesterday.
I have also been reliably informed that Elan was diagnosed and treated for an ear infection on return from the German Sieger Show.
This must surely explain his failure to perform successfully in the TSB test in Germany on that occasion.
Paul has worked very hard with Elan, both here in the UK and in Europe, and we should all recognise the well deserved success he and Elan has achieved.

My sincere congratulations to Paul Bradley with his superb male Elan von der Herderskring who gained a fabulous V9 position. Paul has worked very hard with Elan over the last year or more, and I know he has really enjoyed it. There have been many ups, and some downs, but as they say “it was alright on the day”.
For a dog like Elan to have been second in Open dog at our Two Day National in the UK, only six weeks prior to the Sieger Show, understandably gave many cause for concern. He was in tip top condition and was enjoying sparkling success at major Landesgruppen Shows throughout Germany at the time. |

| Convincing first appearance of UK an Holland Sieger 2003 Ch.Elan Herderskring 20.Mai 2004 in Illingen (BRD) under Orschler. Elan was called out 9th and ended V 4 after 1500 km traveling from England. Well done! |

| This dog was V 3 Siegershow Holland 2002 under late Bo Nyman and Hollandsieger 2003 under Josef Rolli (Baselik-kennels) and Eng. Champion. He has beaten the V 2 Hauptzuchtschau Ulm in Wiesbaden oktober 2003 under Henrici. I wonder if Orschler will accept this male out of Romeo Pallas Athene out of VA Quartz Templari-line. Elan alreayde has beaten several of first twenty V-dogs of the Hauptzuchtschau. He certainly is not overdone and standardtype. |

I have just bought a dog puppy (Massonas Icon) who was sired by Elan. He is a real beauty. 8 weeks old now and thriving.
His Dam is Massonas Caprice.
The Breeders were wonderful, all 11, yes 11 !! pups were beautiful and I could not have picked the best out of any of them.
I will be showing Icon (Mack) in the future - wish me luck! |
