I will not try to be to critical, but "Xandor" is in Spain. I saw him personally when they (owners) took him to a show here in Madrid, Spain, not to present him, just so people could see him. The thing which made me dubious, is that he was always lying on the ground and surrounded by owners and friends, so nobody could really get close to him. Later they tried to show him to the judge Mr. Reinhard Meyer, but the dog kept being surrounded closely by the same people, who were very proud of having him. Mr. Meyer was glad to see me and to reach for my hand and say good-bye. I really do think that this dog has character problems, although I do not swear to this, of course. I know a breeder who has a daughter od his and she is apparently very beautiful, but the character ist not good.
Anyway, the impression I got at that particular show, is that the dog had to be "protected". I myself had taken my male there, who had been maltreated by a trainer in Germany (he obviously was to good-looking to him) and he had come back from Germany made a mess. However, I could walk with him and sit next to the ring where people were running, and my dog behaved perfectly.
Sorry, I maintain my doubts. |
