| I am and always was a fan of Ghandi. Know i am in possesion of a grandson who has been born exactly 10 years after Ghandi. His name is Yoshi vom Haus Dexel. He is very strond sable male and hopefully he can increase the sable coulour in the German Sheppard population |

Ганди - был поистине восхитительной собакой! Он был вопощением мужественности, гармонии, красоты и потрясающих рабочих качеств! Ганди, это одна из немногих собак, смотря на которую совершенно ничего не хочется добавить или отнять. В нем все было прекрасно!
К тому же, он оставил после себя очень много действительно красивых и ярких собак!
Безумно больно, когда уходят такие собаки...

Its great loss, I know that its very hard to recover from it, my condolences to the Dorssen family.
all knows that we must always have old memories and young hopes, and Maggie we are expecting something like Ghandi from Arlett kennel in future.

viele Hundefreunde aus der ganzen Welt haben über unseren "Ghandi" wirklich tolle Kommentare per email, im Gästebuch, bei Facebook, auf der Pedigree-Database und in verschiedenen Diskussionsforen abgegeben. Einfach unglaublich....
Das macht ihn leider nicht wieder lebendig, aber es hat uns ein wenig getröstet und macht uns stolz, solch einen tollen Hund mit weltweiter Akzeptanz gezüchtet und bei uns gehabt zu haben.

a lot of GSD-lovers worldwide wrote lovely comments about our "Ghandi" by email, in our guestbook, in facebook, in Pedigreedatabase and in different forums. Unbelievable........
That will not make him alive again but it cheered us up a little bit and made us proud having bred such a wonderful dog... and even better - he was with us ....

Very very sad news that Ghandi is now gone
Ghandi is one of the most favourite dog's for me
he was a model of the real GSD character for me.
My heart goes out to the Arlett Kennel.
Gandi being a son of Ursus von batu and usus being son of Hobby Gletschertopf, and Hobby being a Son of Jeck.

May Ghandi know that he did much for the German Shepherd, THANK YOU Ghandi. My condolences to the Van Dorssen family. What a hurt in the heart to lose a family member.

Very very sad news that Ghandi is now gone.
We were very lucky to see him just a few days before, and Magrit's love for him was obvious.
He was a great show man, a great dog and a great producer, stamping his own obvious type on his kids and grandkids.
A top dog who deserves these fond memories!

Ghandi is one of the most favourite dog's for us, our heart goes out to the Arlett Kennel. We have a very big beautiful URMA photo of him above our fire place. He will never be replaced or forgotten and always be in our hearts.

wow he is a great dog and also a great producer i have seen its progeny which is in india and also its grandsons they are really good with everything in them bred by qasim ali khan.

| Absolute beauty of a dog. His VA7 placing does not do him justice. For me he should have been atleast in top 3 based on his outstanding progeny and ofcourse anatomy. It is very sad that his worthy son Flipp Arlett died young otherwise Flipp was definate VA. Anyway all the wishes to Ms.Van Dorssen for future breeding. |

One of the best produce of Ursus. This Is a fantastic GSD.On this board he is one of the best good looking GSD with Beautiful colour, strong head good in construction.. and what can any one say to his progeny. It is fantastic.

| I fully agree that there is no comparison of Uras with Ghandi U have a lot of good progeny of ghandi to carry him forward & he is a VA rated Uras is nowhere near him. Fortunately we have 3 progenies of Ghandi arrived in India let's see |

| You can`t comapre Uras to Ghandi. Uras is more Ursustyp, with strong bones and a bad courpe. Ghandi is not so "over" strong, good baalnced. |

I really don't understand why So many people who see him say he is a bitch? I have not had the good fortune of seeing him personally but on the CD he looks just fine.... Real balanced dog, We have his half brother Uras Blue-Rose in India, lot of similarities between the two. I personally feel Ghandi is better than Larus... its only my feeling based on Video and Pictures! But one thing I am sure about with Ulk lineage High Withers will never be a problem....

I believe that Ghandi will be remembered as one of the top producers of our days.
I have seen him with my own eyes on several occasions. Also in his owners residence and in an ortsgruppe-club where he gave a truly amazing performance. He has a wonderful color and pigmentation, a SUPERIOR character and a high fertility. Breeders should recognize the advantages he has to offer. We have to pay more attention to a few essential facts about our dogs. Ghandi offers an important part of the solution.
I have spoken to many breeders who have used him and people are generally VERY happy with his progeny. I hope he will do well on the Siegerschau, he deserves it.

| I think the new photo looks much more "professional" - but looking at the old informal and the new it is hard to believe it is the same dog!! There are positives and negatives on both photos - the colors are totally different - which is correct? And I like the natural stance better than the extreme stretched one - is there a photo with a more true depictation of the dog? |
