| I was there, groundlevel, 30 yards away. I saw the dog. This was one of the strongest hits I have ever seen a GSD do. He came with power that many Americans have never had the opportunity to see. The helper was better than many of our helpers that we have ever had at any of our championships. It was the pure power of this great belgium dog that put the helper on the ground, not an unbalanced helper.

| absolutely have been knocked down....doesn't make my observation wrong.. just different than yours. Believe me...I enjoyed the video and think the dog came with purpose...still think the helper was off balance. Go to site and look at helper being taken down by Carlo B Bruderschaft...and yes it's happened to me before!! |

| Hi Rimson. Thanks for that video! I own a daughter of Chello's litter sister Cora. Cora was bred to Asko von der Lutter for the bitch I have,Effi vom Banholz. The video makes me excited that I may have a special girl. It's great to see how her mom's side of the pedigree measures up.
I also own Anouk van Luttelhof, but she is related to your Enzo only through Ufo/Urzo.

Hi
I mentioned Zender and Nena of Jonny Degens some time ago on this forum and i tipped them both to go to the World Championships in the USA
I have watched Zender Twice now working and he is a great Dog,
Not sure who will go forwards at this time to the USA,
The Person who helps me with our Dogs is as i have said before, is the Belgium team captain, and he is in the USA working at the moment,
He will i think leave for home tomorrow and i hope to see him Tuesday or Wednsday. i will ask him then what is the probable team from Belgium to go to the USA.
But a couple of other Dogs moved up on this last trial at Neerpelt and they are in with a shout as well
All in all Belgium should have a very good team going over

Possible that the owner of Zender don't want to play the WUSV 2008 Championship in USA.....to far to travel....in replace he could play the trial Belgium-Holland...but nothing is sure yet... |

Why would you know this fact in front of everyone else at this stage
Over here it is the best two scores combined so if a Dog competes in the first and second Trials the handler can pick the highest score of those two, to go forwards to the Final Selection trial his best two scores total 579
Plus as Jan says not everyone will want to go to the USA , it will be very costly and not everyone can afford to go
Personally i will say this
Zenders results are good enough for him to take his chance and i am certain he will be selected to go that is if Swa Smuders wants to go, if not he will compete in the Belgium vs Holland Championship,
He has competed in several WUVS championships and is a great Dog

Hi Steve, I asked if Zender will go to the WUSV, because I heard by someone that Zender wouldn't be going to the USA, and I didn't understand why, because his scores were very good.
I know that Zender is a great dog, I have a son of his. |

Like I said you can google it and see all the videos. I do not know if he actually competed this year because he is quite old now. But in my opinion, a good dog is always a good dog, it is more than enough just to see it once. |

I heard that Zender is an alternate for the 2008 WUSV team for Belgium, and probably won't be coming to the US. If that is the case, that's too bad, because I was looking forward to getting to meet and watch him work. As I understand, his placing in the last qualification trial was what knocked him out of making the team. (They have a some kind of point system which determines who makes the team.)

If you take the two best overall scores from the three qualifiying rounds then Zender comes out the highest score of 579 points from the possible 600
I will certainly know tonight when i meet with the Belgian Team Captain at our training club
That is if he is back home from the USA where he has been doing a Trial and helping some people and Dogs somewhere in California, i will let you know

Sorry not yet, i did not get to the training club last night due to a slight accident
I race Pigeons and we had the Young Birds out for a fly mid afternoon, and we had them on a long landing board at chest height getting them into the loft when a Sparrow Hawk attacked, They scattered in panic and my brother and myself took the full force of 30 pairs of wings and claws right in the face's I finished up with a gash on the head and a cut over the right eye and my brother with several cuts to the face,
but what stopped us going training was the time it took to get the spooked birds in, We could not leave them out. and it was near on dark by the time we got the last ones in the loft
One dead i guess it was the one who hit my head, and two more with a broken leg
Tomorrow evening we go training again so we should see the Team Captain then
and tomorrow afternoon the pigeons stay inside the loft

the only thing i have found out is that even if selected Zender will not compete, his Owner Francois does not want to travel to the States, So i guess he will in that case compete in the Interland Belgium v Holland championship instead
