Echo is starting to lose that puppy look... (14 replies)

The little pixie is beginning to look like a GSD. These are natural stacks and the background on one is her grooming bench so not the best pics but I thought I would share. She will be 14mo on the 30th. Are they good enough to critique? Have at it.

Thanks for the comments. She may be starting to look all grown up but the puppy in her still lives! She can't stand for you to shut a door with her on the other side. I set her up for this shot, knowing if I didn't latch the door she'd be peeking in.
Got her! LOL |

Deb,
My girl is 21 months but still looks like a puppy sometimes. She cracks me up! There is a room that is my husbands game room and the door is always shut. Well, she just jumps on it to open it and then gets shut in because the door falls shut behind her then she wants out! She's been in there a hundred tmes but I guess she thinks "what's new in there". And she's right, there is always something new in there. Something new when he comes back whether it be an antler or hide or just any smell she's ready to investigate in that room. Tonight it was just his stuff from the hunt. There was one brought down but not ours |

| No more comments? Come on, I can take it. I would like some honest critiques. |

| I'm no expert, but I think she's lovely (: I especially like the picture of her peeking through the door. That's hilarious! Mine is always doing the same thing... Haha |

| We all hate it when our dogs lose that puppy look. But it gets replaced by a shepherd who is more understanding of your moods and needs. The older they get the better the friendship. She is a nice dog without exaggeration. She will look even better after another six months when her brisket and angulations change. Enjoy her! |

Thanks Steve, I worked so hard to keep weight on her in the beginning and before I knew it she was putting on too much weight so we started working her a little more and cutting back the food and took 5 pounds off of her. I thought she was looking good but my training director told me she was fat. Ack!! She weighs right at 65 pounds now.

DebiSue I do not think she looks fat, very fit, remember muscle wt is more. Maybe your helper needs to work out more because she is hauling him down :))))))
Always,

My bad! I made it sound like he made that comment after I took the weight off her. He is the reason we put her on a diet. He is very happy with her condition now. But thanks for coming to her defense!!
JRANSOM,
That is too funny about your dog locking herself in the game room. I'd hate to think what Echo would do if she had an opportunity like that. |
