I have found out that big number of posters in the area works the best. Put there reward on the poster. Picture and . words "Lost German shepherd dog" and phone number. Make it as big as possible, do not clutter it with too much info.Reward often attracts scumbacks and muggers. Meat in public place. Take two body builder friends with you. Be carefull.
Good Luck!

You are right Prager, do not clutter too much info. because they will know that GSD too value so they can ask more reward money, plus on the poster just say NO QUESTIONS ASKED ! Maybe they just want some money and we just want a dog back ?
That is just my litle idea,if i am wroong i am sorry.
GOOD LUCK. |

| I have a sister back there that loves GSD's I will forward to her in so she can pass it around. Not sure where she is in relation to you but Mass. is not a huge state. |

Add NEEDS MEDICATION to the posters. People feel rushed to act.

Also if they think they will have vet bills, not likely to keep him.
So sorry to see another one lost. |

| Hey, how long has this dog been missing.....? There was a dog with the same kennel name at a local rescue maybe 3 or 4 weeks ago...whoever dropped him off said he was 'dog-aggressive'. My friend who works there was very taken with him, & was sorry she didn't have room to take him, but I thought she said he was solid black. The dog was placed, & I think neutered, definately had advanced training....but like I said, I think it was solid black....& had papers with it. I have e -mailed my friend, kind a coincidence tho', same kennel name...it's not a super common name.....I don't want to create false hope....but what are the circumstances? jackie harris |

|
| OK, my friend got back to me right away...the dogs name was Trooper, same kennel name, all black, more slender in build than that dog, & was neutered before he came to the rescue. She is confident it was not the same dog. She sent the info on to her rescue friends, & they'll forward as well, so now there will be a lot of Pa rescues keeping an eye out, as well. The gal who takes in rescues is a GSD lady, so she'll know what she's looking at....hope it helps! jackie harris |
