I know that one parent HAS to be a sable in order to get sables. (except maybe in solid blacks also producing sables) BUT Look at this pedigree.... http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/474315.html  I know this girl is a sable and is producing sables, but where is the sable in her pedigree coming from?

Was Champ Dakota considered a sable? If so, which parent was a sable?
