You can never say 100%.. But Djenges has a ZW of 74 and should absolutely be a healthy hip producer!

I saw him on the siegershow 2007, His bitework was very good, but when i saw him in the ring i was very dissapointed!

It did'nt work for him at all!

I got more dissapointed when i saw his picture on this website and altenbergerland website.. The picture is clearly fixed!

Do they really think noone can notice?

If you ask me this is very stupid! Djenges is very good in stand, he has a very good build! He does NOT need a fixed picture!

But...  I would never be afraid of his hip producing! Not too many top dogs have a ZW 74!

I would be more carefull with size! Djenges is a little big and i would use a medium sized bitch on him.. I would not use a 60-61 cm bitch!

This is only my oppinion and just so we are clear: I like Djenges! But his picture should be replaced with a real one and hopefully he can show himself better in the ring next time!

Raven, interesting what you said about the picture. Do you mean the color? I looked at a Djenges puppy yesterday and while his topline was identical to the father, and very typical of what he has produced so far, he is not nearly as red as I would have expected based on the photo of Djenges.

KCzaja..

I mean the whole picture.. His topline "Oberlinie" is fixed in photoshop from neck to croup.. But this is only 1 of very many fixed pictures altenbergerland is showing on his website:

www.Altenberger-Land.de

Here are other examples of fixed pictures from this website..:

I take alot of pictures myself and for me it is really easy to see that theese pictures are fixed!

Its easy to see that they have used "cloning tool"

This means that they actually draw a topline on the dog and on some of theese pictures you also see that they draw the brust/breast longer and more powerfull..

Ando Altenbergerland!

There is MUCH more to these dogs than color.

I have a litter mate to the one Kelly is referring to...he is not too dark but we all know that comes with age also. He definatey has much more...drives to die for, perfect movement and amazing structure.

Here is a pic of both the pups...

I never said I had a problem with the color, I am the last person that cares how red a dog is.  I just figured by the photos of the parents he would be more red, but my exact words to his owner was that my rikkor bitch was that color and turned red later and not to worry about it, it wasnt important anyway.  I thought he was a very nice puppy.
