female english bulldog adoption ad (4 replies)

isn't this the scam that's been going around for awhile? the pic looks very familiar and since these pups can go for at least $2000.00, why the "adoption" offer? i've seen news articles on this and i know it's been discussed on this board. seems kind of bold to put it on this board.... |

Funny, the person placing the ad is from the EU, yet the dog is AKC registered? Sadly there will be people somewhere sending money to "adopt" this pup. |

i remember one lady kept sending more $$ for shipping/handling, etc. she ended up paying well over $2000.00 and, gee, no pup. what a surprise."something for nothing" can get expensive...... |

The broken english is a good " Red Flag" I have been contacted by scammers before. If you ever have a ad running and you get an IP RELAY call, it is a scam. They then want to to contact them by e-mail. I now put no IP RELAY calls will be accepted on my ads.

I actually got something in my email once about a bulldog that was for adoption. I googled the email address and it was a scam!
