Horny Goat Weed

Has anyone used this to encourage mating? I have a standing female and an inexperienced male who doesn't quite seem to get the concept of mounting although he shows interest by licking. The female is very cooperative and not dominant. She has been receptive for him since yesterday.

I don't mean this ugly but he should be able to figure this out by himself (or have the drive) or I would not breed him. I would just keep trying for a few days and make sure she is in full heat.

Also, are you breeding in her home territory? If so you may need to take her to new area or to his "turf".

You may already know all this just trying to help...

Thanks DR, yeah she could still be a little early. even though she is day 15, I considered that. I'm pretty sure he will eventually figure it out. They are both used to the same territory.

Have you tried putting her in his kennel with him?

Also, the dam of my current female would not breed (accept the male) when I was present even though we were at the SIres home. I had to leave out of sight and then she accepted him no problem. We breed them several times and each time I had to leave. She was very jealous of other dogs being around me.
