I am currently feeding Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers Soul.  I am truly happy with this food.  The only problem is it is hard to find where I live.  I have fed Canidae, Innova, and Royal Canin.  They were ok, but none as good as  Chicken Soup.  I am thinking about switching to either Evo or Orijen.  Does anyone know anything about these two.  I like the results from the Chicken Soup.  I am fond of the NO GRAIN foods.  So please let me know what you have experienced with Chicken Soup, Evo or Orijen.....

Thanks in advance

Shawn

Our puppy is on a 50/50 blend of Orijen large breed puppy and Wolfcub. I love the quality of Orijen and Evo, but I really feel the protein content is too high for a pup. She looks great, gorgeous coat, correct weight even though she doesnt always finish her food.  You may also be interested in Solid Gold Barking at the Moon, another grain free food.

While I much prefer other alternatives to CS (and so do my dogs), check out these sources of CS in your area: http://www.chickensoupforthepetloverssoul.com/dealer_locator/

I have been feeding Orijen Adult for almost a year now. My 3 dogs do eat a mostly RAW diet though. But my sons dog eats mostly Orijen. It is a  very good food. Luke (my son) use to feed Canidae but likes the way his dog looks and acts better with the Orijen. He also says she will eat all the dry food vs leaving some to eventually be thrown out. The cheapest I have found Orijen online now is www.doggiezbest.com , it is $57.99 for a large bag (29.7#), the shipping is free.

Vargas, go to Geiser Pets in YC and they will order whatever you want, if you tell them you always buy it and how many bags you need per month. Lizzy's Hay and Feed also has CS.

Thanks 4pack, that is where I normally go.  They are out of it more times than not.

Call them and have them order however much you need per month and have them hold it, they can call you when it comes in. That way no one will buy (your stuff). Hey how much is it anyway? I hear such great stuff I might just start my dogs on it too, it has to be cheaper than $52 for a 30lb bag. Now that I have 2 beasts on the same food the cost is killing me, right along with the economy.
