Yes, you're right - I've got plenty of time.
You should think twice about the Rodeo BS though, the edumicated in the like know your full of BS
Well, the "Rodeo BS" is documented fact. Can't argue too much with 60-70 videos - but your can try
.... also, it doesn't make you look to good regarding all the other pages and facts ya have. Just my Opinion.
Thanks for your opinion. I was just sharing a laugh (especially the John Bunnell part) with anybody that was up for a laugh. Hope it didn't ruin your week .... ROFLMAO!

Hey! Thanks Baby Eagle! In 1833 (175 years ago) everybody started collecting these videos about RODEO. I remember it well - I invested $1.14 in Sony stock - now I'm worth about $26 billion. (buy in low - sell high!)
Way back then, it was HARD to collect all thoe videos. That's because the damn CAR hadn't been invented yet. So everybody had to ride HORSES. *** BUCKIN' RODEO HORSES! *** Jeez! Buckin' all across America to collect videotapes - even before CELL PHONES!
Yeah Eagle-Melissa --- you sure got a grip on THIS!
Pardon me for me asking - why did you change the subject? Didn't you UNDERSTAND the subject?
Maybe your week was ruined 175 years ago?

LOL! WhatchoogonnaDO? $25 million riding on my head .... Sheriff John Bunnell (my all time favorite), John Walsh, DOG and Beth (plus her breasts!) .... It just don't get much better!
The RODEO .... all that BS - I never should have watched those videos and seen all those dead animals. Stupid Steve! Stupid Steve!
Rodeo pages are here: www.sl-prokeys.com - then just click Rodeo and we can all figure out why them horses are "broke to ride"! YeeHaw! Cowboy UP! Maybe we can watch a few videos, too.
"The fact is ....." (ROFLMAO) .... that's one of Frawley's KEY phrases. For some reason, I just LOVE that phrase, because very often what follows is NOT a fact. So I have a highly developed sense of humor, and some people like to laugh.
There are so many good things about laughing : it's FREE! Laughter has been around for a few million years, and it works just as good today as it did in the caveman days. It never breaks! You don't even need a license to laugh. You can laugh anytime - morning, noon, or night - and it's legal! Sometimes, people hear YOU laugh, and THEY laugh too - it's like "sharing". Why not? There's enough to go around - no need to be selfish.
Thanks again, Baby Eagle - I'm watching those 175 year old videos on my 175 year old camcorder. (Hey Eagle? Did you find the page where Rambo claims I put a SchH III on a dog 2 years before the dog was born?) LOL!!!
Best to everyone,
Steve

EagleBaby, what's your point? The Hardy boys, 1952? Hollywood stunts on a horse? You must be getting at something here, but I don't know what it is.
If you feel compelled to "fly like an eagle" (even a baby one), just go to www.sl-prokeys.com/rodeo/rodeo.htm ..... don't even bother reading, (reading is such a waste of time), go to the bottom of the page and click the 33 links. Relax, watch 'em all. You'll love them. Nothing like dead horses and dead calves to REALLY entertain ya! You'll like the one where the tractor drives over the downed livestock before they sled it away to die in the trailer.

Many dont know this...
Steve has 18 Gold Records, he was a Professional musician, obviously, and played with Ike & Tina Turner, amongst many other greats back in the day.
He is an interesting cat to say the least. Ive gotten to know him fairly well, least as well as one can know another over the phone, & enjoy talking to him, whether dogs, music, fishing, guns what have you.
Steve, Ill call you soon. Off to church & then to the gun range for the afternoon.
Best

The fact really is .... thank you. Preston, Mark, Jan, Bill - thank you. Playing music was my whole life before I started in dogs. I'm sad that I have health issues and no longer go out to play live concerts, sad that I can't work dogs anymore, but I'm grateful that I can at least share some music on the phone or on my website. So The Fact Is .... thank you. It means a lot to me.
Being complimented always does two things to me: it inflates my ego, and it make me feel humble, because I've had such wonderful chances through the years. So many people - "big" people - major players - gave me a chance. When my ego starts thinking I'm really cool, my humble comes along to remind me that I'd be lucky to work at Burger King, if it wasn't for those wonderful people and those chances.
We've gone off topic pretty far, but if anyone would like to hear me, my website has a lot of mp3s and videos. There are also pages of pictures and stories about music.
Thank you again,
Steve

Thank you, but that's wrong. The GREAT players are the ones I copied: Billy Preston and Booker T. I only wish I was half as good. They both trained me, long before I met them - with record albums and 45s. Those two are my heros! If it weren't for them, I might have been a janitor if I was lucky.
you are also one very funny guy.
Some people like my sense of humor, others don't. "You can't please everyone, so you got to please yourself" - (Ricky Nelson, "Garden Party")
Didn't you used to play with the group Soul Survivor back in the late 60's or early 70's?
Yes, for just about a year: 1968-1969. It was a really great experience, unfortunately things didn't work out. So I took the "Expressway" to Memphis and found my true musical home: STAX Records. (that was a play on words)
I appreciate the compliments - thank you.

Steve, here are several questions for you:
Which dog was the greatest GSD you ever owned or trained and why?
Who was the greatest musician you ever played with or recorded with?
Did you ever play with Junior Walker and was he as talented as some have said?
If you had to pick any one song you have liked playing above all what would that be?
Thanks for all the laughs on your unique web site. |

Hi Preston,
With dogs and music, I have no answer. Every dog which I owned or trained brought something good - some brought more, some brought less - but they all had their unique characteristics. Some dogs just didn't cut it - they were too weak for my personal taste - but I loved really rough dogs. Many of the musicians I worked with were awesome - and others were super in different ways. Some couldn't count to 4 .... but that's music. I never played w/Junior Walker, saw him live probably 3 times. I thought he was great. If I started a list of the songs that I liked playing, I'd still be typing on Christmas!
Now that I haven't answered ANYTHING (LOL) The Fact Is ..... I guess I saw and heard good in almost everything.
