Does Show LIne & Sable Gel Well Together

Is it just me or do other people also feel the same way. When I see a Show Line dog with just the sable color but with no workability I find it something which does not gel together well. Its like I'm reminded that someone tried to steal the thunder:).

any opinions????

I don't think I understand what you are saying. Any color with no workability does not "gel" for me!

I agree with sueincc. I have seen some beautiful showline sables who work very well.

Here in the uk there was a fab sable bitch called Ch.Antilli Nathalie - she certainly proved you can have fab show lines and sable.

I mis wrote that last posting. Nathalie was a really good dog that didnt lack, she has also produced some fab progeny.
