Looking for a Showline for a friend, I thought I'd look at the database to see what is for sale. I can't find much listed in the United States, mostly "working" lines.
Where are the "show" line folks advertising their dogs?

I did look AND the pickings for show lines aren't as good as the working lines in the United States.

Perhaps you could place an ad in the Request to Buy section? I'd bet you will get lots of responses.
I have 3 pups available out of my Ulko/Elzie litter of seven, but they are little monsters (and I say that with a lot of pride!). 1 male/2 females ready to ship out of Indiana May 13th. Maybe this database is not the best source for American showlines. Or are you talking about German showlines?
There are several kennels within driving distance from me with top showlines AKC but the price's would stagger you and most of them do not sell with breeding rights.
Be more specific as to what your wanting and I will try to help. Where are you located? |

you should consider buying a show line puppy from outside the US, do your homework on the breeder, ask others on this site if the breeder you select is responsible. I too live in the US and purchased a great puppy from Europe two years ago, everything worked out as planned, I t was extremely nervous and cautious.. (sending money overseas, waiting to receive a puppy that I've only seen in pictures etc.) , everything worked out well in the end. If you do your homework and take your time, you will find a great puppy...
Simply put, if you want a great show line puppy and for a cheaper price... try European kennels, in the US the price is outrageous and half the quality.....

KEIAHA- are you kidding? The American dollar isn't worth toilet paper right now. Not every showline breeder charges $2-4k for a pup, I know I sure don't.
