I watched the video out of boredom and a little curiousity.   This is not training, this is not a correction.   Anyone who thinks it is should not be allowed near any animal and maybe not even humans.   I think the guy should face abuse charge's.

I don't believe in harsh and forced training, and what I seen here is more then abuse it,s cruelity and he should go to Prison and NOT serve as a Police officer or anything has to to with Animals or Humans, if he treats a dog like that I wonder how he would treat a human.

Officer Charged with Having Sex with Cows

MOORESTOWN, NJ – A South Jersey police officer, in jail after being accused of molesting three children, was charged yesterday with four counts of animal cruelty for having sex with barnyard animals, authorities said.

Patrolman Robert Melia, 38, was suspended last week by the Moorestown Police department after authorities raided his Moorestown home and seized a computer and pornographic materials.

The animal cruelty charges were filed after an examination of the seized materials, authorities said.

An investigation is continuing. Police said they were investigating four incidents involving cows.

Moorestown, NJ, Patrolman Robert Melia has been charged with having sex with cows.

Melia and Pemberton filmmaker Heather Lewis, 32, were charged April 13 with the sexual assaults of three girls at Melia’s house. The assaults occured on multiple occasions during the last five years, said a spokesman for the Burlington County Prosecutor’s office said.

Melia is being held on $510,000 bail at the Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly. Lewis, who is charged with aggravated sexual assault and criminal sexual contact, is being held on $300,000 bail at the Women’s Detention Center in Pemberton.

Sorry, you are wrong about what they should be working with. They should NOT be assigned to work with dogs if they do not understand how to work with them, regardless of the dogs' drive. Secondly, one does indeed wonder how this man would have treated someone who was being arrested and gave the man some trouble. I predict he would have also been more than abusive in his arrest. People like this do not belong in law enforcement and they sully the image of so many fine people who serve us all. This guy needs to never work in this capacity again and further, should see a psychotherapist.

Yes, largely agree with you, this guy SHOULD NOT be re-assinged to dog handler duties. However, you will be surprised as to the level of abuse that goes on.....just ask anyone who work dogs professionally.

I'll bet he'll keep his job, after all it's only a dog you know.  How many times have we heard that ? Frankly I am shocked at how many people in the US have no problem with animal cruelty  including a few who  post to this board  and bill themselves as "professional trainers".  They just don't get it and never will.

I think how one treats animals is often an extension, be it conscious or unconscious, of how one treats humans & their general respect & decency for life itself. 

Disturbing to say the least.   But understand, we invaded a nation on lies, we have killed over 1 million people to date, have made 5 million Orphans i nIraq & have Slaughtered over 50 Million babies since 1973.  

Our culture, through our corrupt media & emphasis on secular relativism,  is influencing our social mores & values, to emptiness & moral decay.  Its a slow degenerative process, that the Elitists have performed on us in just 1-2 generations.

They Have suspended all K-9 units for the NC State Hwy Patrol while the review all training methods etc. The accused said that this is what he was told to do and allowed to do by the NCSHP. I call BS but they will review this.

Just goes to show what i always say,there are lot more so called humans abusing ,hurting and killing animals,yet when animal kills or hurt a human we right away put that animal down like we have accompolished the biggest thing in the world.even though that means nothing to that animal,but when a psycho like this abuses helpless animals we are most of the time willing to look the other way.in my world this just does not add up.only if i had the oppertunity to teach this guy what a hard correction is i would be a very happy guy.have a nice one .
