Cant believe I responded to 3 threads today! I own a Olex daughter sch 1 kkl2 for for breeding. I also have a client who has a Olex son that I put the Sch 1 on this winter. He is available for stud...and he is a monster. Contact me privately for info. dj_kroyer@msn.com fyi...good luck breeding to Olex himself. I do have the contact if needed. d
Olex was collected several times over the past 2 years and straws were frozen. They have not yet been successfully used, but if someone wants to try it, they're available. As for natural breedings, Olex hasn't been used since last year and we would have to test him to see if his semen is ok before attempting a breeding. First and foremost is my concern for his well-being, though, and natural breedings sometimes aggravate pain he has in a leg he had surgery on when Jorg had him. So, while I'd like to see more Olex progeny out there, I'm cautious with how he's used (if at all) and i hope people understand it's not a sure thing to use him at this time, due to his age. I am always available to answer questions or inquiries.
If you'd like to contact me, I can be reached via e-mail at: k9sport81@aol.com
I am not about to pay you a thousand dollar stud fee or spend thousands of dollars for semen and the cost of using it to bred my female and end up with nothing. I am better off using a top son of Olex. who will actually produce puppies.
I thought some of you might like to see these pictures Jonathan sent to me today, showing a side of Olex most people don't know about. Jonathan is visiting his Grandmother on the east coast, and as always, Olex is with him. Here is the 4 x BSP Competitor, known for his serious bitework on the field, showing his absolute perfect temperament off the field. This is Olex with Jonathan's 94 year old Grandma, being a perfect gentleman. What a great dog!
He truly is a magnificent dog. I think he is the embodiment of the ideal GSD. It is heartwarming to know this dog has a wonderful life and is so loved.
When my grandmother was still alive she had a walker just like that one. The dogs would bolt when they saw her coming because she had a tendency to whack them in the head if they got in her way. Nothing like watching a Dobe and two German Shepherds running away from a 99 year old, 5'0 Italian woman.
Awww Olex looks so happy and so does grandma! Very cute. Gives me a greater appretiation for the dog, especially after the shutzhund club, bite thread. A stable dog is a wonderful thing.
Hi Dave Kroyer:::::: Yellowrose here.,,, I am Myah's human ganny......Jeri is my partner......By the way,,her husband is in the hospital.....heart problem in case she hasnt called you.....or you were not aware..
Glad to see you on here...dont be so scarce we need you here........
hey Bi if you were luck enough to breed as many females as olex has you would be shooting blanks or probably way before.this dog is amazing it is one of the best dogs you would ever see out of Nick H. NICE TO SEE OLEX PICTURES HE LOOKS AMAZING AS ALWAYS AND IT IS EVEN NICER TO SEE HE IS HAVING A GOOD LIFE. oLEX'S OWNER KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND THANX.
What a breath of fresh air! Honest breeder who loves his dog, Love the pics...funny story about the Grandma who boops the GSD's on the head if in the way.
There is an excellent Olex son in Woodburn KY (near Bowling Green) Xato v d Germanenquelle SchH3 KKL1a. You can find him with Jeff Lund and Pat Kennedy at www.schneidenfels.com. Gorgeous dog with super drives. They have had some exceptional litters from him. Barb Eichman, M.D.
I really wanted an Olex daughter but had to settle for a grandaughter. Not going to bash Olex's owner or hound him to death to get a pup. I respect Jonathan's wishes and how he handles Olex. I did the next best thing and I still got a great pup and am very happy. I have never had such an alert pup, nothing gets by this one. I was hoping for Xato color but I have an Olex looking black sable. Jeff is a cool guy and his Enzo is a super producer too. I'm in love with my Enzo son, Baden vom GrimOrkie.
I am getting next week the best of both worlds, a Asko von der Lutter/Olex grandson. Won't be easy if at all an Olex pup but the chance to get an Olex grand pup is for sure.
I have a male from that first breeding of Xato and Zoie, Vampir von Scneiden Fels aka BRAM, who at 12 mo knows all the BH routine AND the retrieve on the flat and over a lowered jump. Bram is wonderful with power and great disposition and he is a pleasure to train. Liked him so much arranged for a friend of mine to get one out of your litter, Zamboni von Schneiden Fels. I used to co-own Xato with Jeff but have only one intact West German female so really had no use for stud dog, but I really wanted to help bring into the country. I love Enzo too and have never seen a bad dog out of him. I just bred my nice female, Hedda vom Adlerbach (Narro von der Kine now deceased x Dera Lyn von de Sleughte Bruute owned by Ronnie Weiss) to Enzo so hopefully she will have some nice pups in about six weeks. Good luck with your little girl. I am sure she is hot stuff, Barb
Ah you have one out of Jazzmine. They all looked really nice too. Jeff has her sister for sale, Bracie, only due to lack of time to train. So many good Schneiden Fels dogs or related offspring, and so little time. I would LOVE to have Bracie but am up to my ears in good dogs right now, a problem that is sure a luxury! Best, Barb
Barb, would love to see Hedda's ped. Love to see that mating on the PDB. Your correct, so many good dogs, so little time. I just shake my head when I hear people saying, "a good GSD is impossible to find". My biggest issue is which one to pick and I wish I had more kennel space. We have many many nice studs in the states, if you only open your eyes or/and ears.
Tried to cut and paste but no luck however both parents on this Pedigree Database. Narro von der Kine SchH3 (100-96-100 in Germany for the 3) KKL1a, AD and Dera von de Sleghte Bruute SchH3, FH1, AD.Yes so many good dogs and not enough time to train as many as you would like to, Barb
I would be cautious in doing any business with Jonathan Richards as I have a good friend of mine who got scammed and this was not an "inexperienced" novice to the breed either. There are multiple threads on various forums out there that indicate many other people have had bad dealings with him. Just a little FYI!
Agar, tell your "good friend" to contact me because I don't believe a word you've said. NONE of the previous accusations have proven to be true and in fact, I've found Jonathan was the one who was the victim of many scams, not the other way around.
Diane- The situation that went bad with my friend did not pertain to the dog Olex; different deal took place and he got taken for quite a bit of money that caused him a great deal of grief. It happend quite a few years ago. I don't know Jonathan, never heard of the guy til I started seeing his name pop up on different message boards where he was the topic of people indicating "buyer beware". I have no ax to grind since I never had dealings with him personally, never bought anything from him, never bred anything with him; just know what I heard, read and believe at best to be true of the person I know personally who got taken. My friend cut his losses long ago and if you had a good experience with Jonathan; that's great. Other's have not been so lucky from what I understand and when it's more than one, two, three or 10 people all with a similar story; one must have to wonder if all of those people are ALL wrong???
