.i don't get on this site often...my comment had no reflection on quality of the dogs ,size of bone... whether they are excellent quality .great pedigree..excell in schutzhund ...psa...ringsport..or whatever...my comment is that puppies should not be on wire cages.....  period...i will comment on this furthur at a later time..and PRESTON ....i respect your  comments that you make on this site..you are very knowledgeable......i was not implying that YELLOWROSE  is a puppy mill breeder..i have no knowledge of anything about this breeder except what they post here..things like puppies are not allowed outside until they have their first vaccinations...wtf.???.so these pups are not outside until 5..6 weeks of age..because they  should not be vaccinated before that age, in my opinion..this breeder states a problem that puppies smell of urine ..feces.. etc..if they are not on this wire bottom crates...i had my 1st gsd in 1963..have had many since...i  began breeding in 1980..have had slightly over 100 litters..never had a dog on concrete...pups are outside at 3weeks..vaccinated at at approx 6 weeks...no sick puppies.. no baths ....cleaned on occasions with wash cloth and warm water...when selling they are bathe this way and i use an aromatic oil mixed with water  in a sprayer.. my choice  is PATCHOULI OIL...{ i was turned on to this oil in 1969 by a long haired hippie flower child in SAN FRANCISCO ..yeah let me savor those memories a moment...}  gotta go..hey mabye all breeders out there use wirebottom crates..not for me .my belief is that animals and myself stay as close to natural as possible ... i believe in herbs ,,poroper diet..exercise..puppies need to be on natural surfaces..dirt ..stone   grass ..as soon as possible..exposed to the natural elements..sun..shade..wind..rain..snow..moonlight.just as if they were in the wild..thats the way i roll...people call me back all the time saying how their vets comment on how healthy the pups are...also many calls wanting to know  what that smell is..i'm outta here ..people are gonna do what they do ...doesn't make it right...i raised two daughters ..no vaccines...no doctors.. naturopahy..homeopathy....herbs .. proper nutrition..colonics..sweets were a treat..birthday parties.. holidays..etc..not every day ...they are in their 30's now neither one has a cavity... people can always rationalize  their actions..a  dios...i'm gonna go think about that hippie girl for awhile..

I remember hippies..lol  only on the west coast , around here we were just freaks...   I remember Mr. Natural...also.

Was a good friend of mine.   Hiya Jade,  I couldn't resist a topic with a header like that.    I almost remember the original discussion but then again my minds not working as well as it once did thanks to those earlier days you spoke of...:)

People do raise animals on wire, it has its good points, but I couldn't put  GSD on wire.  And I too believe in the natural world and what it means to all life.   You interest me in that aspect of your remarks sort of.

I believe Yellowrose to be a good person who takes care of her animals, we all do things differently.   And Preston, well I believe  Preston to be very observant.

Now you've got me smelling Patchouli and thinking about hippie girls....   I'm too damned old I think.

Maybe burn one for me.

Brent.

Two Moons,

lets see in 1969 I musta been in the planning stages still. Do you have to be a 60s teenager to appreciate PATCHOULI?

Jasmine is for women I am a male. Sandlewood musk or amber is alright. LOL

LOL....Tiger,

Yes jasmine is for the ladies but its for our benifit they wear it didn't you know.      I wish you could have known those days, each generation has their time I guess, so much changes yet so much stay's the same.

I miss the rock concerts and all the relative social rituals associated with the times as much as anything.  Can you appreciate what is not being said here..LOL

Oh, I miss the cars too.  My first GSD Duchess was 9 years old in 1970 and I rode my horse everywhere.

Hell I gotta quit or I'll bore ya to death.

Later Dude.
