I'm so excited that today was the day Rosa had her babies. 3 little girls and 3 little boys. Everything went very well. Here's the first photos from this afternoon. |

Yes Momma had a long day. She started at about 8 am this morning and went well into 2:30 this afternoon. Her last pup was a big boy and I think she was more than happy to get it over with. lol This was my first litter and luckily she is a very good mother that didn't need any help. They look like little fat rats. I can't wait to see how they look in a few more weeks. |

Yellowrose- I hope they go fast so I don't have a chance to get too attached to one in particular. lol I'm just so happy they all were healthy, plump and momma is doing so well. Right after I put the one pup back after taking his picture she put her paws over her babies as if to tell me "ok, that's enough leave me rest with my pups". So I rounded up the kids and left her in peace. I'll post more pictures as they get a little bigger and full of personality. |

congrats! little fat rats - that's just what my breeder called angus and his little mates when they were born! lol. and then they grow......... enjoy them, they are very sweet. (and give momma rosa an extra treat). |

Momma is resting and doing well with her babies. She finally ate really good for me. The past several days she started worrying me when she was not eating very well but after seeing the size of these little guys I can see why she didn't have much appetite. They must have been taking up too much room in there.
Jackie- just have a box of kleenex close by when the first one starts to go. |
